I found out that my Axa Mansard was removed from my portfolio when I asked my broker they said it’s not registered in CSCS. I found out that axa mansard readjusted their shares last year. I had 200,000 shares last year. What do I do?

BabsO2:

The Northern APC governors supporting zoning presidency to the South looks like a very wise step. Nigerian stockmarket may go up from coming Tuesday because of this, especially if well supported by the APC presidential primaries.

Let me quickly buy something on Monday ??

Don't give too much consideration to that part in bold.
The agenda might be to produce an Apc flag brearer from the south but not the president.

The "math" might be to produce an Apc southern candidate who will SHARE THE VOTE from within the south with @ Peter Obi, the popular and now LP candidate, while @ Atiku A, the Pdp presidential flag bearer coast to victory by amassing a great No of vote in the North and an appreciable figure from the south.
Current happenings in the south makes this a possibility.

Remember that the North almost always play an important role in determining who becomes your president. ...and with rare exceptions, the probability that a northerner will usually vote a northerner is always near 1. (I say this without an intent to any sought of ethnic division though)
Lots to say, but I don't want to litter this place with political discuss.

This hypothesis (well, for now) has nothing to do with the forward dynamic of the market though.
An Atiku presidency will also propel the mkt.
At this time, investors are more concerned with having peace and security knowing their investments are safe, than having a given name as president.
Our politicians are all the same. ...some are just a bit better than the others.

As I said before; The mkt is in accumulation mood... sideways trading is expected in the days ahead... but overall positive trend remains intact!
Any pullback at this time should only be seeing as an opportunity to strategically align with select KEY fundamentally healthy coys. (some are already in a great entry zone)
So it's a good thing you're buying now.

It is well.

Get a copy of your CSCS statement showing the shares, a letter requesting for your dividend (the letter must contain your bank account and BVN details as well), a valid means of Identification.

Go to the office of GTL Registrars Limited located at Modupe House, 274 Murtala Mohammed Way (Beside CashCraft Limited), Yaba, Lagos and present your request to them.

They will guide you of there is any further request and also let you know when you should expect payment as well.

You will be asked to complete a mandate form if you haven't done so before and assisted on further steps to process it.

What is happening in first bank cannot not just be waves away. Power play is on. Infact, there appears to be renewed interest in nigerian banks by the money bags. See Union too.
Otedola and Co are truly after the control of fbnh and this should reflect on the price very soon.

Go to the website of the registrar, download the emandate form.

Fill the form and submit at your bank.

Contact your broker to send "Share Transfer Form" to you.

Print it, sign it and send back to your broker.

Be disturbing your broker with email to ask GTL why they have not paid your dividend.

GTL are a bunch of nitwits. Very incompetent motherfuckers. SEC should come up with capitalization drive for registrars so that a lot of them like Greenwich can disappear. You are on a long thing with those guys.

Write to this email address:

complaints@gtlregistrars.com
Also copy SEC via:
sec@sec.gov.ng
If you don't copy SEC they may ignore you. But if you copy SEC GTL will quickly attend to you.

Moreover, if your KYC is up-to-date with your stockbroker you don't really need to go through the process of filling the e dividend form and signature specimen before you can receive your dividend.

How did you buy the shares?

If you bought through a stockbroker then tell them to forward your CSCS statement of account to your email. From there you will know the state of your holding. And if you have access you can sign in by yourself on the CSCS website to check.

Not a good sign technically for a number of our favourite banks - GT, ZENITH, FBNH.

The h-pattern on the weekly is not ideal.

FBNH needs to hold 10.90. Thin structure all the way to 9

Do your DD.

Using the ichimoku cloud chart, the Chikou span lines on the monthly chart of GTB, Zenith and FBN shows that the current price is higher than the 26th-month price recorded in the past.

The Chikou span line of NSE bank index showing the current price is even far higher than the 26th - month price recorded in the past.

This seems bullish technically.

Interpretation : any fall in the banking stock looks like a headfake in my opinion.

You would agree that indicators are lagging pointers to what is actually happening at the moment. Looking at the calendar, 26 months ago puts us around mid year 2020 - Event: Covid which serves to explain why the current price is higher than 26 months ago. I myself bought GT at 16.70

Returning to virgin P&V action only, you would note that GT has been in a gradual downtrend for a long time- Nov 2020, very obvious on the weekly. It needs to hold 21.60 else it will easily revisit the Covid lows.

Could it form a double bottom? Sure! but I won't keep my hopes up for that action just yet.

Using indicators, it is below the downward facing weekly 30SMA, can't get above the daily 5/8ema.

It is not bullish in my book BUT then again we use different parameters for conviction.

Readers: This has nothing to do with your fundamental views about the company so don't assume I'm saying sell.

FBNH has already sold almost 4x its average weekly volume in two days this week with 3 more days to go.

It is trading in a range, some might call it a bullish flag but with the inverted hammers printing for a few weeks now, I wouldn't be bullish on this either which explains why I stated that it needs to hold 10.90.

It is below the weekly 30MA, volume is increasing and printed a doji last month. Support is at 9

For GTB, and using ichimoku, it is trading below the cloud. Technically one can say this is bearish. However there are other things we look at to know when a turn is about to occur. And that thing is there pointing a turn is imminent. And this is "bullish".

The simple textbook explanation of ichimoku cloud for prices is that when it is under the cloud, it is bearish and when it is above the cloud, it is bullish. If it is inside the cloud, then it is undecided.
