Good morning all,

So, I'm putting in a family visitor's visa application for my partner and daughter. I already have my own visa and I would be the one sponsoring the trip 100%. My confusion is that I have a registered company as a self-employed whilst my partner is working in a school but not earning much, hence the reason for me sponsoring the trip but her payslips and salary account are all intact. However, she's also listed on the CAC documents as one of the two directors of the company but I have declared in a previous visa application that I have sole access to the funds in the business account. What does she fill on the part of the visa application form where she's asked how much she has in savings? Can she declare her normal income, state the amount I am putting in for the trip and still claim she has savings (in the business account solely operated by me) or she should just fill in that she earns x amount of money from her job and that I am the one sponsoring the trip without laying claim to the savings in the business account? Assuming she can lay claim to part of the funds in the business account as her savings, would it be on the basis of her percentage of the shareholdings in the company? Kindly advise.

Great job here guys

Please I also need your kind advice.
I applied for a visiting visa last year October but was refused, my brother invited me and supported it with all necessary documents. However, their reason for refusal was that I do not have a solid financial backup myself, I made a mistake of not attaching my payslips and statement of account thinking his was enough.

Now, My total take home after all deductions is 78k, what I have as my savings presently is 180k, and I want to reapply again, now its for honeymoon but my brother is still the one inviting us, he is paying for the hotel for some days and we then leave to his house.
Questions:
What are my chances with this salary and savings since my financial stability matters too?

I run a small Data reselling business, don't have CAC but all transactions reflects in my bank statement, won't this be questioned? Must I state it in my application even when I did not register for it?

I know Visiting visa is 6months, however, Do you think stating duration as 6months is wise for us or just use 3months or lesser and leave is wiser for better chances of approval?

Kindly add additional advice and guide
Thank you.

Biometric was May 24
1. Please what's my application reference number
2. Will this result in delay in the process?

application reference is UAN or GWF number. Your visa decision will be stalled until they get the requested document.

Hello all,

I guess it's 6 weeks duration at the moment.
Took biometrics in Paris on June 6 and was informed that it will take 6 weeks.
Thanks
From my observation, it takes less than 6weeks in European countries. But this info may not be representative of all applications made in those countries.

My MIL did hers on the 28th of April, have sent 3 paid mails, still the same awaiting decision.
Did a paid call in Monday, same response.
I am honestly tired, hopefully by Friday which will make it 6weeks we are going to get a favourable decision

It's skilled worker visa.
I suspected the guy was going to make a mistake because he was working like he needed to clear the crowd on time. And there was no sense of carefulness and thoroughness.

Now, this is making me terribly scared.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by haylegbede1(m): 7:38pm On Jun 08, 2022
Hello Guys,

I am having an issue with UK Skilled Worker visa application.

Biometric was done 21st April 2022

Decision made on 10th May 2022.

Decision letter has been sent.

British Resident Permit is already sent to the desired UK address.

But passport is not yet available for collection. I have visited the UK embassy and TLS contact at VI severally but nothing has changed. They keep saying the passport is not with them.

Ive used paid mails and calls too but to no avail.

Has anyone faced anything like this? WHat else can i do?

I did May 12th as well. Where was your location and what visa type did you apply for? Are you a first timer or this is renewal? Heard anything yet? I only have an acknowledgment mail from DMC Croydon on the 17th of May and I’ve been stuck with 3 greens ever since
