Email from DMC acknowledging receipt - 20th May 2022
Another email from Liverpool visa office acknowledging receipt - 25th May 2022
Email from TLC for passport pick up - 6th June 2022
Passport sent and received through DHL - 7th June 2022.

Hello everyone;
I have been a silent reader. I did Biometrics on 4th May (Visitors Visa), it reached DMC 7th May, sent two paid emails already but I got the awaiting decision response. The event I want to use it for already passed.
How long will it take for UKVI to return my passport if I withdraw my application anytime from now? I have a travel plan by end of June.

You are going to confuse the Visa Officer. Keep it simple. Your wife is an adult. She should submit all her documents relating to her job and her account statements. If you are sponsoring her, do that 100%. If she has enough money, let her sponsor herself 100%. Don't attempt any patch-patch sponsorship that will end up confusing the visa officer. They don't like long story or complicated situations. Leave out company account etc. Even I got a bit confused reading your message.

The trick is to keep it simple. They expect adults to sponsor their own trip (unless you are very old and not working).

Hello guys. I am trying to help my junior sister with a visit visa to the UK to see me, she's currently a university student in Nigeria. I intend on submitting my UK bank statement to support her application.
what other documents do you guys think I should include to support her?She has a letter from her department stating that she's still a student and she's on semester break.

No, hotel booking confirmation. I have never used an invitation letter as I'm always the one sponsoring my trip.

please kindly advise. i am a student in the Uk and want my mum to visit this summer. my bank statement has a one-off sum of 2m lately, which i intent to use. i work only part time so i earn quite a tiny bit, which doesnt look sufficient to sponsor someone. please what do i use to say as evidence of the one off deposit in my naira account. i just have inflows come in irregularly, from a few places. my mum is retired. ive just read on this forum the need to attach her bank statement as well. she has visited the uk once . how do i convince the ECO about my naira account because of the inflow?

wow! Congrats. This thing is becoming irregular. From biometrics day till the day for pick up was 3 weeks 4 days. My assumption has always been 2, 3, 6 & 8 weeks. Seems like VI is being given some kind of priority compared to Ikeja.

Maybe some people paid for premium lounge, it is advantage, I did my biometric on 26th of May, I just an email now from TLC that documents are ready for collection. it is not up to 10 business day, I paid for the premium lounge package, my cousin didnt and his application is still on the third stage when tracked.
