Osibanjo should seek Buhari's permission to contest on another platform

Make everybody test his popularity on the masses and not some few delegates that can be easily bought with money.

So you believe nobody will do this for them! Habba.

Even me, the way I write to promote Osinbajo, you will think he is paying me.

So I strongly believe that SOME NIGERIANS will do that and even do it is ithout expecting a dime.

The Osinbajo group has fundings from private pockets so i see this as the least of all obstacles

Lol. Grassroots politics is not about writing and convincing people. It is who the people know, love, and trust. That's all.

My brother, the level of voters illiteracy in Nigeria shocked me to my bone marrow. I tried to engage few people on electoral processes and what it requires in Nigeria, 80% of our voters do not know much. They only follow bandwagon. It is scary!!!!

Won't work?

But I just stated the possibility of money bags helping and you dont need any political structure to make the electorates vote for you.

We are not talking about primates.

The money here will be for mobilization. Of agents and not bribing electorates so what do they need billions for?

Moneybags that could not help him during the primaries ?

Independent candidacy is an option truly and can work, but it can only work for someone who has a strong financial muscle or ingrained influence on the majority of the electorate; better if the person has both. Unfortunately, Osinbajo has none of these, he is just popular to a meagre fraction among the masses.

This is how PYO was push against his benefactor and lost.
Now, there are selling independent candidacy to him and he will be push against Nigerians.

Toks2008:
What if Proffesor Yemi Osinbajo comes out as independent candidate?

History has shown that indirect primaries in Nigeria have never produced candidates who truly have the interest of Nigerians at heart and we can no longer put the future of our children in the hands of these old inept recycled politicians.

I still believe in Proffesor Osinbajo and there is a provision for independent candidacy in our constitution.

I am convinced that this will be a viable path at this juncture, an option worth exploring.

The electorates in the villages listen to party chairmen or leaders. They dont know who they're voting for but do what these leaders tell them. These leaders are either in APC or PDP. Its called structure

The North is the worst!

I mean it. I saw a video in which a man stood in front of the ballot box, take the ballot paper, thumbprint it, fold it and give to the gullible people on the line , one by one to submit only .,.

Some people can't even vote properly, they don't know nothing except whatever they are told to do

Independent candidacy for a Judas Iscariot?
Thanks to all the Niger-delta star delegates who voted for Tinubu
Osinbanjo will betray the whole Nigeria. Once a betrayal is always a traitor.
I would rather prefer Rotimi Amechi or Ahmed Lawal to run as an independent candidate.
Osinbanjo is worst than a snake. He should have considered the age of his benefactor. Imagine, Tinubu pleading to Ayade, don't endorsed me here, endorsed me in Abuja, consider my age. I was really touched by this statement, despite not being a fan of Tinubu.
My pvc is to vote for a candidate who has a better plan for the people and culture of Niger-delta.

This is Nigeria, structure can be fixed in 3 months if you have enough people that believe in you.

How much money and time have you spent educating these people? Even abroad with all the millions they spend on voter awareness, voter registerations and education, half the country still voted for Trump TWICE! Remember pathos and ethos, where logic fails people tend to use emotions. Until the youths form a party of their own and are able to match these old men money for money, persuassion for persuassion and power for power, we ain't ready yet!

It would have been a great idea and he's capable. but we see people calling him ingrate, traitor, etc for exercising his constitutional rights to be voted for.... Illiteracy needs to be destroyed first of all before such ideas can work in this country

It wou look as if he's desperate.
