Made silly mistakes in my application, my bank even addressed the bank letter to German embassy , quoted 5 times my monthly income for the trip but with explanations and I also had good savings with clear prove of source of fund which . God proved himself and this is my evidence .

My girlfriend is applying for UK Visa. she earns 1250USD from an international organization. She only started working in April ending. She will be applying immediately at the end of June. By then she would have received 2 and a half months' salary. She is applying with her payslip, employment letter, 2 months dom account statements having about 600USD(She wants to use the rest money to pay rent), a letter from a USA employer to go on a 5 days trip, personal statement, and hotel booking evidence.
Do you think she has a chance to get a Visa? secondly, what other documents does she need to provide aside from the aforementioned? and thirdly, what is the processing time to get the visa?

2nd line(b)- qatar air, turkish airways
3rd line- all that you have mentioned.. no major difference between them.. choose that with the shortest total flight duration as it will save your body unecessary stress

This has been spoken about on here many times, this is NO longer a requirement since March 2022!!! No one needs to be vaccinated, nor do you need to do a Covid test. Just book your flights and come in as you please.

1250 usd is 518000 naira or 1000 pounds.
So after hotel, return flight ticket and miscellaneous her account will be empty because of holiday. So she will empty her acct bcus of 5 day trip? this vsia will be denied.
Account balance of 500k at this point in time for visa application.. let her save over the next 6 months and build a better account balance also.. also by then she would have accrued somtime on her employmnt history..
Pls let her read this thread. She is not ripe to apply.

Is there an urgent reason why she is applying so quickly after starting her job in April? Better chance is to relax, get paid work in for at least 6 months where she is currently working, before applying. Unless there is an urgent reason for applying to visit.

It’s better for her to build her work history at the new place, 3 months of employment just seems too soon. If you are a student then am guessing you not leaving the country in a couple of months. But as someone else said it’s up to you guys. In your case there is no need for urgency to be honest, she can work for at least 6 months, and apply after that. She would have a better than normal chance.

Why cant she wait till after 7 months when she would have had like atleast 8k USD in her account ? why the rush ? Abi no be real job ? Assuming you are the visa officer and this kind of application is being placed before you, what would be ur decision? Dont waste your money ooo...

Please I need your advice and how to go about it.
I am a student in the UK, and my wife and daughter are my dependents. They joined me in January. We want to invite my mother-in-law. My wife works with two agencies since she came till now (no offer letters but payslips plenty), and also got a full-time job, which she just started in May (offer letter stating her salary per annum). She will be the one to sponsor her mother’s trip. and I will be the one to invite her. Here is my question:
1). 3k pounds is sitting in her account, like how much can she use to sponsor her mother.
2). My mother-in-law, has 500k savings in her account. But all her trips will be fully sponsored. Is that enough?
3). What kind of reason can we present to display the importance of her visiting us. Although the real situation is, that I’ve got a 3 months internship that requires me to travel to another city for almost 5 hours journey. So I want her mother to come so that it will be easy for my wife to manage her work and daughter. Childminder fee is not a joke.

Please note: She’s working in one of the universities in Nigeria. She’s got a deferred leave letter to use. So she is genuinely going back.

I need experience and how to file for her without any issues.

2. The 20hrs is only for the worker shortage jobs but wasn't clearly stated if it's a paid job. What is clearly stated is that if you're on the visa, no salary except for stipend for maintenance in accordance with the minimum wage rule. So I therefore assume you can only volunteer in those shortage worker sector too. However, only an immigration solicitor will be able to shed more light

First, there is no rule that says you must work for a certain period of time before you apply for visa.

My daughter got a new job earlier in the year and applied for visa before she started the new job. No payslip, no leave letter, nothing. Except her employment letter from the company. However, please note that a few things probably helped her case - I fully sponsored her trip so she used my account statement, she had substantial savings in her Naira and Pound accounts (she schooled in the UK before coming back home) and provided her statements of account. I have also applied in the past when I was just two months old in a new job. It is not an issue really so don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

For me, I feel a new job helps her case because it shows that she has an employment tie to Nigeria. Again, how many people start new jobs if they are planning to travel abroad and stay there indefinitely?

I would advise her to apply when she has more money in her account. The main issue is the money available for her - not the fact that she started a new job. The new job in an International Company is a big advantage. I hope this helps.

You and your son should be fine with those documents. I'm worried about your brothers. You need to explain why your husband is sponsoring a trip for them. Is he their legal guardian? Looks dicey to me. Others should please advise

I was also receiving a further monthly allowance of NGN 33,000 amounting to a total of NGN396,000 a year from the Federal Government of Nigeria for my participation in the compulsory National Youth Service Corps Scheme (NYSC) from March 2021 to February 2022. I currently spend between NGN 33,000 to NGN 36,000 out of this in catering to my monthly personal needs. Undertaking this trip will not pose a financial burden for me.

I have a total of NGN1,100,000 (£ 2,033) saved in my salary account at Zenith Bank, Nigeria with complete access to this money and have attached the necessary documentary evidence of this in the form of my bank statement.
Furthermore, I am still expecting salaries for the months of April, May and June before my trip. I strongly believe that having adequate funds in my personal account will not be an issue for me.
a. OPENING BALANCE
The opening balance in my account on 2nd November, 2021 is NGN 191,304.25 (£ 347). This low amount is because I had recently made payment for my PLAB 2 booking.

b. EXPLANATION OF EVERY TRANSACTION GREATER THAN NGN 10,000 BESIDES MY REGULAR INCOME

NGN 20,000 paid to —------------- on 22/22/2021 was a loan to a friend.
NGN 20,000 credit from —----------- on 24/22/2021 was repayment of the money loaned to him two days earlier.
NGN 81,600 credit from —--------------. on 31/12/2021 was a bonus payment of 50% salary paid to all staff of the organisation at the end of the year.
NGN 66,000 credit from FGNFEDERALGOVERNMENTOFNIG on 07/02/2022 was payment of my NYSC allowances for the month of May and June 2021 which had not been paid.
NGN 34,800 credit from FGNFEDERALGOVERNMENTOFNIG on 15/02/2022 was an advance payment of the February salary for the National Youth Service Scheme with an additional allowance of 1,800 NGN. On further inquiry, the Scheme pays the allowance this way, when the programme is rounding up.

SUMMARY OF MY VISA APPLICATION
As earlier stated, the intention for this visa application is to sit the PLAB 2 exam in Manchester, which I have paid for and attached necessary evidence supplied by the General Medical Council UK.
It is imperative to note that I need to return to Nigeria to continue my clinical job as it is my only income source. My lucrative career prospects as a medical doctor either in Nigeria or the UK and my status as an upstanding citizen of Nigeria with no criminal or civil offence to my name motivate me to abstain from violating any set terms of my visa.
I can cover the entire cost of my trip should, and as such, I have no intention to seek aid from the UK’s public funds.
I would be grateful if my visa application is granted, and I am happy to answer any additional questions that may arise from this application.
