INEC is not the one to advertise for candidates their preferred running mate. It is up to candidates to make known their running mate public and not INEC .

Sources have it that Tinubu has since submitted the name of his running mate who happens to be a Northern Muslim.

So why is Tinubu delaying the announcement of his running mate and when does he think it will be appropriate to announce the much rejected northern Muslim he chose as his running mate?

It is believed that Tinubu has chosen Baba-Gana Kingibe over his ties with the Aso Rock cabal towards seeking the much needed federal rigging machine to get him into office. This is against that of the Kaduna Mafia who mounted pressure on Buhari to give the APC ticket to a southern candidate towards eliminating Buhari from anointing a successor from amongst his Daura kinfolk that make up the vast majority of the cabal.
