Qlife is currently filled up.

Slot for July opened by 8am yesterday and was filled up exactly 1hr after that. As at 9am, no more slot.

Try and book IOM, it’s 50/50 that a slot will come up at Qlife in July again. Same thing happened in June and no slot opened up.

Litey8:

Okay. Thought as much. It’s weird cos last week no option to select July. Just checked today and saw July only to find out that no slot is available. If I can get a date first week or second week of July in Qlife then it’s better to wait.

The first option is for the merchant you are making your payment through

The second is for the merchant's bank through which remittance will be made to your school of choice

Im sorry do you mean first option is the CIBC details and the second is my Nigerian bank. Is that correct.

Any answer?

Its same, most times the letter of admission will contain an acceptance part (it will show if it is with condition or without condition), program schedule/duration and fees payment part, and other instructions.

The invoice would show the merchants name (flywire for instance), office address and stuff related to them, another part of the invoice would show the merchants bank name, bank's address, swift code and other info relating to the bank.

On the trade portal, you will first fill the merchants details in the Beneficiary Information part
'Please enter the details of the student.' - this part is for your name and passport number
'Provide the relevant banking details of the beneficiary here.' - this part is for the merchants bank

The next page after this page is for you to upload your documents and input your bank details

.

According to IRCC to switch schools after obtaining your Visa you must also inform Them. If you are still in Nigeria for example and have gotten your visa and want to switch schools before travelling to Canada, you must inform IRCC and that also means that you would have to submit a new application with a new letter of acceptance. But if you have already landed in Canada and collected your study permit and later decided to switch schools when you haven't resumed the school you used in getting your study permit you are still required to alert IRCC and you will also be required to leave Canada to apply for a new study permit from home because the one you are already having will be cancelled and rendered invalid . So your best option is to attend the old school for some weeks or a month or 2 then withdraw from the school . In this case you will also alert IRCC but you wont be required to leave Canada to get a new study permit. This is your best option if you don't want to reapply from outside Canada.

Abeg the expert in the house please help and advise me on my next line of action. I applied on the 11th of February 2022 through a immigration consultant and the only update i got since was medical updated to pass on the 2nd of march since then the information has been ur application is still progress. I emailed nairobi and the response was your application is still progress, i also ordered my notes last week. The same week i followed the advise of one of the gurus here by sending a message to the MP in the region my school is and the response i got from him was i should send my names, date of birth and UCI number which i did and this evening i got a message from his office stating that criminality and medicals have passed Eligibility to be assessed and will send a message to request update from visa office. He also recommend i reach out to his office again in 1 month if i have not gotten an update from ircc. Now my problem is, i have until august to be in canada after august i either withdraw or i differ to january nxt year. Please should i differ to January or wait for a miracle to happen before August.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for PR after the 1 year full-time work experience you get from your PGWP in which will make you eligible to apply for the CEC - Canadian Experience Class category of Express Entry. That's why it is advisable to go for a 2 years program or finish one program and go for a second program (which means you need to extend your study permit for the second program) to be eligible for the 2-3 years PGWP.

To your second question, from my finding it's a yes, but that would likely be a Visitor visa which you must apply for, but unfortunately you can't work with a Visitors visa.

In the best interest of an international student, he/she should go for a Program in a school that is a DLI (Designated Learning Institute) and offers PGWP (POST GRADUATE WORK PERMIT) Very Important

Extending your study permit for another program, can you do it over there or you need to return back home and start a fresh application?

You can help yourself by telling us about your educational qualifications and what kind of program you are interested in . After giving us this information, I guarantee you that a lot of people on this platform would search for schools offering programs that match your description and also guide you in applying . One thing you have to note is that , most colleges or universities in Canada requires you to pay an application fee before you can submit an application into any of their programs.

Yes you can extend your study permit if you want to continue studying in Canada. Here is the link below on how to;

Does the work permit that comes with the study visa the same with the co-op for someone that his program has a 4months co-op program. Or you have to apply for the co-op permit separately.

Hello, please I have a question... After been refused for Visa, is it possible to change institution and program of study before reapplying?? So that the first application will be different from the second one entirely....
