Why should someone be employed to "clean up after doctors"
Is anyone employed to wipe people's asses when they use toilets?
If you use a face mask you should dispose it yourself. If you use sharps you should discard appropriately.
I am not commenting on the incident above because I do not think we have all the facts but employing cleaner to clean up after doctors is a bizarre suggestion
Disposal of biohazardous material is a serious matter with all round responsibility and doctors have a key role in this effort; not leaving biological/hazardous material about creating risks to other staff and patients

That's not the role of a cleaner.

WHO said whoever generates waste must discard it. In my practice outside Nigeria, I've never witnessed a doctor or nurse generate any waste and ask cleaners to wipe off. It is all shades of wrong. I've never seen a doctor waited on me to bring case notes or organise equipments for them to use. Just show them where the items are. It is disheartening to see these kind of rubbish from doctors and nurses and patients suffering.

God bless you jare. To even say they pull in strike actions because of that thereby jeopardising people's care on top of that. That level of insensitivity and lack of compassion is so wrong.

What is wrong with you guys? The first time you're actually rooting for a presidential candidate shouldn't turn to madness. Yes we all know you're all just catching cruse but its sometimes disgusting.

Only if you understand the beef between these two (doctors and nurses). The other day I heard a doctor slapped a nurse in national hospital abuja. The doctor feel they inferior to the nurse and nurses feel they're no slave to doctors.. buh until they both know they're working on d same page... this occurrence will continue..
