ArewaNorth: I don't know if they can't see this themselves. A divided opposition is no opposition. It would've been interesting if Obi/kwankwaso could form a merger. They're making it an easy ride because the both of them have succeeded in emasculating the pdp and atiku without knowing it. 2 Likes |

Indispensable85: Lol. Don’t make me laugh. It’s too early in the day for a smiling face. With what is happening around Obi right now and what is to come, Obi doesn’t really need someone as popular as Kwankwaso. Just someone who can guarantee some fraction of the votes from the core north. Now talking about structure in Kano and other Northwest states, you remember Anambra and Edo elections? APC was still the ruling party when they lost these states because the people didn’t want them. Kano people don’t want APC anymore. They don’t want Tinubu and they don’t even like Buhari again. So, how will structure deliver a disenchanted people? 1 Like |

Prinxzona10: i know you support obi but try to realistic with urself the only region certain for obi is SS&SE obi will not win a single state in the north and you must be joking about southwest, you think southwest will vote obi after you make the election tribal, i can sure you tinubu is getting nothing less than 70% vote in southwest, i will urge you to go check voting pattern whenever southwest has a major candidate on the ballot. the vote obi will get in southwest is from igbo living there and few yorubas, tinibu is getting block vote, the election is now tribal, any good observing mind will know this movement is tribal 3 Likes |

Penguin2: Let me quickly correct you about Edo State because that's my state. Obaseki left Apc with more than half of the party structure and went into the pdp with an equally formidable structure in the state. PDP is very strong in Edo State. They've always won the general elections in Edo. Their only problem was the state election. Let's not delude ourselves bro. If Buhari is on the ballot for 2023 he'll still win Kano handsomely. We thought they were disenchanted in 2019 but baba still got over a million votes in Kano and swept the entire north west again. All the federal lawmakers in the north that left Apc for pdp never returned except Dogara from bauchi. Bros leave Buhari matter oooo. My poser to you now is that: who's now that person that can deliver the fraction of northern votes you talked about for Peter Obi as a vice? 2 Likes |

Indispensable85:I want to respond to you because you didn't used any abusive words on my message buh we need to be truthful to ourselves at least for once.. Firstly, don't put words in my mouth because I didn't said that Peter Obi will win 100% buh the truth is that in the whole of South and North Central with the way things are going now,Peter Obi will likely win if the momentum keeps on going higher and Peter Obi supporters should also derive a means to curtail any rigging or vote buying.... Nigeria is not affecting me and it will never affect me buh the reason i'm trying to help for a better candidate is for the poor masses, the downtown and the less privileged...( people are really suffering and it hurts so bad to see them hungry, crying and dying especially since the APC government came into power,if we can be truthful to ourselves) Just travel outside the country and see what's obtainable everywhere,it's only a tribal bigot, religious fanatic, ethnic extremist, an unexposed, illiterate and hungry people that still supports Tinubu or Atiku because they got absolutely nothing to offer and every sane mind knows that.. Even if you guys hate Igbos buh my hate on Igbo politicians supersede the hatred you guys have for an ordinary Igbo person... My anger skyrocketed immediately they denied Yemi Osibanjo the ticket buh we shouldn't rely on the past rather we face the future and Peter Obi have some similarities with Yemi Osibanjo.. Sir,I love Tinubu's political genuity and sagacity more than you buh I wouldn't use because of them and jeopardize the lives and future of over 200 million people,it's wickedness and evil and hope you guys understand and retrieve your steps before it's too late.... These Igbo and Yoruba hatred starts and ends here and not in outside world because I do my business and keep friends more with Yorubas.. I wish I made some sense and I also wish you have a rethink...a word is always enough for the wise.... I rest my case..Gracias!!!! 1 Like |

Prinxzona10: Firstly, nobody denied Osinbajo the Apc ticket, he was roundly defeated in a free and fair contest. He didn't even finish second,so Tinubu was never his problem because in his absence Amaechi would've been the candidate. Secondly, I don't hate Obi or any ibo, my analysis is dispassionate and realistic. The bitter truth is that Obi does not have what it takes to win a national election just yet especially in a narrow party like LP. Finally, this is democracy and we should all learn to respect the rights of one another to make choices. Have a great day. 2 Likes |

Indispensable85:APC keeps winning Lagos because it's a stronghold for the party. Unlike North-central which is no-man's land (neutral territory ). As it stands now, people of from north-central have been humbled by the herdsmen crisis which this administration has failed to tackle...and if you look at states like Benue, Plateau, and Nasarawa , that have been greatly affected, do you think they'd vote in 8 more years of insecurity? . Let us understand here that this election will be won based on sympathy , rather than political affiliations 1 Like |

Penguin2: lolz, you are very funny , they are not up to a thousand and 90% of them are igbos living in those cities, lagos and ibadan has alot of igbos residing and doing businees there which is the 15% obi and atiku will split plus few yorubas and you must be truly delusional to think obi will win this" Plateau, Taraba, Benue, Southern Kaduna, Southern Gombe, Southern Bauchi" with APC and PDP as a sitting governor in those states, southwset and northwest is sealed for tinubu and only reason obi is getting SS&SE is because of his from that region and they want power so badly. 3 Likes 1 Share |

So many people wouldn't have bothered voting if the race was between just atiku and tinubu. Unless those that mostly want to receive something for their vote I mean why on earth should I spend my quality time to stand on the qué just to vote for either of this men. It's between choosing the devil and the deep blue sea and it's hard to even tell which of them is which Peter obi followers are organic and working class citizens that are fed up of the state of leadership. We're tired of I don't care leaders that can't even address the citizens or represent our best interest even when abroad The good thing about Peter obi is that if he wins it will be fully obvious that the Nigerian people elected him there..and if he messes up (which I don't see happening) then the citizens will kick him out in the next election For goodness sake we need to not only uplift ourselves but Africa and the entire black race. We're the number one black country in the world and it's a shame we're failing so much when we should be competing with USA, China etc or atleast close. Peter obi is not a magician but atleast he will usher in a new era..An era were we have thinking leaders. An era were power belongs to the people It's time that Nigerian leaders realize power belongs the citizens. Any government that underperforms needs to be voted out We're not puppets. We want better leaderships 3 Likes |

Indispensable85:yes, the race is between Atiku and tinubu but choice of vp will also affect tinubu, osibanjo would have been a better candidate for apc and Nigerians I'm sure some igbo youths will vote for him plus he will get strong northern Muslim and his loyalty to buhari all these would have worked for Osinbajo tinubu will find it difficult to find generally acceptable vp and I'm not sure if tinubu public outburst against buhari will not work again him in the North |

Indispensable85:I think you are right with most of ya point...but I think Atiku should win the North Central...Atiku might win the general election with a slight margin....Forget all this OBI brouhaha noise...Atiku will surely win SS...Might flip SE...but it will be evenly divided between him and obi...Even Southwest might not deliver block vote for Tinubu if he goes on with his Muslim Muslim ticket...place like Ondo Ekiti might not vote in bloc for him if the Muslim Muslim ticket persist....A.P.C should surely win Northwest....though KwanKanso might pinch some vote here or there...I expect atiku deliver Northeast...without much ado...So the battle will be in the northcentral...any candidate that win that region with a very good margin would be declare the next Nigerian president... 1 Like |

tycoolest: I dislike Nigerian politicians because they're all wicked and selfish buh the truth is that I supported Obasanjo,Yar'adua,Jonathan (when I was still there in Nigeria) and Atiku (when i wasn't there in Nigeria via online)because Nigerian were always faced with two worst choices buh among them,I so much Loved Yar'adua because he was and still the best.... That cunning impression that Igbos have made the process a tribal project is just a silly lies concorted by Tinubu's supporters... If Igbos keep mute on Peter Obi's presidency, you guys would lament that they don't love themselves and if they come out to support him,the same you guys would still lament that they're making it a tribal thing.. See guy,if you hate somebody, the hatred is there already and it will take a very special grace to take the hate off you because there's nothing Igbos can do to please many of you people. It's tribal election now because Igbo man is in the picture because Tinubu got nothing to campaign with except his normal ethnic, tribal and religious card only... Let me ask you,if Tinubu is contesting with only Atiku, would he be playing all these ethic, religious and tribal card huh because he knew he will fail at it even before the election start proper....( I wouldn't blame those they said that the hatred from some Yorubas for Igbos is what's keeping Nigeria together because the attack on Peter Obi is mindboggling even when he's not in the main opposition party and 90% of the attacks are from Yoruba people because Atiku is not their problem again,so what are you going to call this one,*PURE LOVE* I guess huh?.when other tribe do something is normal buh when Igbos does the same, you guys read tribal meaning into it and Tinubu that you guys are supporting, are you supporting him because he's credible, competent, healthy and fit enough to be president if not for your own tribal sentiment huh? I've been reading some comments here for many years if you don't know buh the greatest supporter of Peter Obi is Edo people and I wish many Nigerians will emulate Edo ways of doing Politics and not been blinded by hatred niii) Tinubu's pattern is to view Peter Obi as an Ipob or Igbo agenda or even a christian project of which his urchins have been displaying here since and I ask you,to which end? Finally, reasonable and responsible Yorubas ain't buying into that your tribal and ethnic card because their eyes have opened and they know Tinubu is a bad market..if Yemi Osibanjo is in the game,it could've make more sense buh due to evil and greed,he was sidelined... Though nothing concerns me with the Nigerian politics buh Peter Obi remains the best among them and he may likely win if paired with a strong Northern vice candidate... I rest my case..Gracias!!!! |

oluwadabira111: I agree substantially with this submission but I'm dead sure that the South West will most definitely give Tinubu a solid bloc vote. The issue of Muslim Muslim ticket is just a propaganda. Tinubu made it clear in Ekiti that the Vice President position belongs to the north east and a christian. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/06/apc-vp-slot-tinubu-condemns-rumour-on-muslim-muslim-ticket/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwiauLXnrcP4AhUMx4UKHdG1ClkQFnoECAMQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0yot59fkswAvJeQ5_2Hsaw Yes anybody that wins the north central with good margin will most likely win the presidential election. 1 Like |

RedPill01:Some people wouldn't know the kind of message Peter Obi's Presidency will pass across peradventure he wins because politicians will wake up and start working for the people for the fear of been voted out while Tinubu and Atiku's presidency will doom Nigeria(continuation of the status quo of subjugations, sicknesses, illiteracies, poverty and hopelessness in the country) and mark my word,Nigeria will stop existing if any of them win because 20% of Nigerians will find their exit out of the country. Check Peter Obi's supporters and check Tinubu's supporters, then you will understand why Nigeria is like that because no sensible person suppose to been in love with his oppressors buh look at some youths, fighting and defending their oppressors just because of financial inducement, tribal and religious sentiment.. tycoolest: Your head is very correct. A lot of people are sleeping on the emerging scenario that the campaigns — and by projection, the elections proper — are increasingly being fought along tribal lines, for the most part. IMHO, this trend will become even more so as the elections approach, particularly in the southern parts of the country, which hitherto had been dubbed "more enlightened," at least literally. Good luck to all sides. ........ P34c3 |

Prinxzona10: Mehn, you appear to believe, with every fiber in your body, that the Yoruba have an unjustified hatred for the Igbo? And that the problem of the Igbo and the rest of the nation, is the Yoruba and Tinubu? If so, or even a quarter so, then I'll tell you this: If you haven't realized that most Yoruba also think of most Igbo in equal measure as you're indicating the Igbo think of the Yoruba, then your analyses and raw sentiments — especially in the realms of politics and political power — will remain unrealistic and always fail.
