This article is so spot on especially that island side of Lagos. Is the most terrible place to live in. Flooding, bad/poor urban planning (almost all their market are sited close to a junction, bus stop, even lounge or hotel), traffic situation is helish, you can use up to 8 hours from sangotedo to Ikoyi when it rain or when there is fuel scarcity that is just withing island. I have been exploring other cities like Ibadan, Oshogbo, Abeokuta, Onitsha, Owerri, Enugu to live in. Ibadan dey catch my fancy Sha.

Where do live in lagos?

The statistics must be absolutely right considering pressure in Lagos with large influx of people from different regions in the country. Like I do always say that if Nigeria has state like Lagos in each geopolitical zones, the live will be enjoyable for all habitants of Lagos.
That's the difference between a foresight leaders and leaders with little or no economic plan. It's unfortunate that despite the accommodating nature of south westerners, they keep insulting us forgetting that the problems Nigeria is facing today was emanated from their greedy and selfish leader who formed alliance with NPC despite Awo's plea and readiness to allow him be a prime minister and accept finance minister.
He turned down Awo request thinking manipulating Northerners will be easy because of his education and exposure but couldn't not achieve his aim. In a bid to correct grave mistakes was resulted to first coup where most Northern and some western leaders were eliminated.
Hausas felt betrayed and retaliation of this coup resulted to Biafra war. This was how greediness and selfishness of Azikiwe ended oneness of the country.
Many of this people were made in Lagos and prosper in Lagos without any beef or preferential treatment from any Yorubas, the privilege our people can't have in their place. Yet they keep insulting us, calling us names and making all sort of threat both offline and online.

An unfortunate truism.....Lagos must be saved from the mad influx of migrants from all corners of the country and those who have no business in the state sent back to where they came from and very importantly agberoism as industry must be abolished in the state.

Lack of proper City planning is the reason Lagos is a mess. No stable electricity, no sewage system, no fire hydrants, poor public transportation, ugly houses......
