Michaelshow:
Evening all,
Please, I need help.

I am HND holder, got a year undergraduate program offer at the ATU Sligo formerly Institute of Technology Sligo.
My offer is conditional based on English requirement.
I have email the school, that my English Proficiency is sufficient for the program as a Nigerian, English is our language of communication and also sent my Secondary school certificate (NECO), National Diploma and HND certificates to show my educational qualifications are taught in English.

The International office still requesting minimum requirement for the English.

Please, what will I do? There is no time anymore to the IELTS test due to the school deadline to meet this requirement.

Even UK, US and some European countries gave me unconditional offer as a Nigerian and my qualifications.

Moreso, Please who is familiar with Sligo? it good location to study, cheap accommodation and get part time jobs?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Please can i get a sample of this conditional offer

currently in 2022, why should one apply for Ireland universities as compared to uk ? PSW is the same in both countries so what are major reasons to opt for Ireland than UK?

and what is rule regarding field of study and work ?
for instance can I work in IT/software dev roles if I studied something in social science ? do I get a work permit for that?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Princeadex04: 10:24am On Jun 26, 2022
Endeavour to attach those refusal letters to your application, failure to do that would result to 5 years ban and you won't be able to get visa to the UK and any of the EU countries during those period. Go and get a police report and a High Court Affidavit for the
lost refusal letters. I think that would do. Cheers

Thanks @Princeadex04. I've written to the embassies and hoping I would do a follow up call tomorrow. But if I can't get any of them, I will do as advised. I really appreciate your advise. Have you experienced something like this before in the past? I'm really worried I swear.

Baba, how are you Broh.

Someone is giving me a job offer in Dublin but I found out the company would have to send me a signed letter for the Appt but the company said that would be done on approval.

How do I go about this please?

Your post is somewhat scant.
You might want to note there are different types of employment permits: critical skills, (normal) work, research... ...
Perhaps, this might guide you: www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-work-in-ireland/what-are-my-work-visa-options/applying-for-a-long-stay-employment-visa/employment-visa/

Ask your employer to give you letter to the bank for account opening

Be advised that there was no genuine job offer. How can you loose a job that u just posted about here in less than a week?

If an employer offers you a job, they should send you original contract offer and Employment permit by courier with which you will make your visa application to the embassy. How can they tell you they will send what after approval?. If they truly offered you a job, they will apply for and mail you the employment permit and original contract offer letter
