Someone tells me they are 21 and they show me a national ID card and passport which confirms their age as 21. If peradventure it turns out to be that their age was falsified in those original national documents, I cannot legally be held responsible if I had permitted them into an establishment which allows only patrons that are 21+. If I am dragged by the authorities, I will simply cite the national documents they provided as my main defence and direct the court to the passport and ID issuing agencies.

About publishing of Ukpo's details hope you read clearly that it wasn't the Ekweremadu's that did that?
They simply approached the court with those details in filing charges against someone whom they believe based on documents at their disposal that before the law the you g man is of age to assume criminal responsibility,i.e. 21 years.
The press published the details which you and I are reading. Theirs is a criminal case filed against the guy, rest assured, it will be difficult for the guy to win this case. You shouldn't have all those registrations with those banks if you haven't attained 18, except if done by your parents or guardian.
And if the records show more details of transactions spanning years then it would have been proven the boy is above 18.
The Ekweremadus just initiated their own move on the chess board, a smart one. How will NIS, NIMC and the banks exonerate themselves?
