It's not trash, the crypto market is a large market dominated by bots executing different strategies. Bots don't deal in emotions, they deal in data and numbers... Understanding this has made me to be more analytical when dealing with the market. I am not saying you should trade with any particular indicators btw. I am only put out the indicator I use and how I am using them.

I get ya point but most analysis you go see online are always if-then statements. kingsteve's consistency in putting out content is admirable in spite of all the nairaland vawulence crew attacking him. The only criticism i have is the analysis he puts out is for scalping. The problem I have with scalping is that you need at least an 80 percent accuracy rate to be reasonably profitable. His takes so far have been right up to that extent so it probably works well for him.
On the issue of quality projects, it will be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to find such a coin in this market on your own. The only way to find such a coin is if you belong to some big boys discord channels and even the big boys(crypto youtubers) these days don't have portfolios that look great at the moment. Some of them (cz binance, elliotrades) admitted they didn't even foresee the issue with 3AC or Luna happening.

You're absolutely right, my strength lies in scalping and day trading.
I am not a fan of buy and hodl, maybe that's why I haven't put so much efforts in analysing medium to long term.

You see, most of these people that criticise me on here, have no idea what I'm talking about, because they do not understand the psychology of scalping the markets.

So when they see me write about the continuous ups and downs of BTC price movement and key price points, they probably get tired or bored of reading.

What they want to hear is...buy and hodl for a period of time, and then sell.
Unfortunately, I am not the man for such analysis.

Maybe, someone else will emerge from the background and do long term analysis for them....definitely not me!

Only active scalpers and day traders will find the info I give out useful.
I believe in short term trading, because I know that's where the main money is.


Irrespective of the fact that on average, scalpers and day traders make 2/3/4%, but when one is on the side of mother luck, and a coin pumps, one can be seeing 10% profits or more in a day.

Why hodl a token for long term and realise almost the same profits a day trader can make in a shorter timeframe?

You buy a token, hodl for 6 months, and probably realise 10% or more, all depending on point of entry.
Meanwhile, a day trader can make that same 10% or more in a shorter timeframe.

Personally, it doesn't make sense to me, hence; my addiction to scalping and day trading.

I placed a buy order on kucoin after sending the guy money, he claimed he did not see it.

He appealed. And immediately the order was cancelled.

I called him to find out immediately he cut the call and blocked me.

5 mins after I posted this here he called to say he has received the money.

There is this theory I have been working for trading generally. The theory is that market always picks a direction ultimately. Especially when you trade on bigger candles (4h, 1d, 1w). For example, the crypto market has been in the downward direction since November last year. It might range or bounce in upward direction for few days, but ultimately, it's been downward.
For me, the indicator that best signals this upward or downward movement is the EMA. EMA divides the charts nicely into bullish and bearish periods. To make catching this signals easy, I wrote a bot (chartless dot co) that helps me place trades when price crosses 55 day EMA and it has been ok. I would love people to explore it too... it is free for a month

Now I am not saying EMA 55 does not fail, all indicators fail. But since the ultimate goal is to make profit, I am fine with small hitch...If you are not a fan of using bots you can explore EMAs 55, 99 or 200 days and see how they have been performing on different coins.
