The rich guys plan more and better. It’s not only business/career they properly plan they also plan effectively for family which includes the number of children they bear.

I think it purely has to do with the dictum that religion is the opium of the masses, the two main religion in the world discourages abortion and encourage unbridled child bearing and the admonition to thier adherents is for them to populate the world, since the poor tends to take religious beliefs more to heart and conduct they manufacture more children and when questioned in how they will cater to thier welfare they tell you the almighty God they serve will do that for them, the rich however knows better, is it by coincidence that Dangote and most Presidents that the country has produce are mainly monogamists while I personally know a security guard that has seventeen children and counting cry

Scientifically: it is explained as a subconscious way of trying to escape poverty through the high chances that one or two of the numerous offsprings will eventually becomes something by luck and help the parents escape poverty. The more the children, the higher the chances for one of them to escape poverty and lift the parents too out of it! Yeah, I read it somewhere.

Every thing about a successful person is well planned, while everything about a poor person is by chances and circumstances

A Rich Man married the exact numbers of wife he needs and can cater for, giving him the exact number of kids he wants In his empire

A failure or Poor man, marries because of circumstances, peer pressure, societal pressures and gives birth always by mistake due to lack of family planning and lust for sex

The poor man can't afford to buy condoms for birth control .... he can't afford a side chick .....he can't afford to visit brothels.... women in the community know he is struggling ... may like him.. but can't take the chance of sleeping with him and becoming pregnant.... morning after pill he can't afford... much less abortion... and worse ... to support her... and the child... so what options he has left?... no TV ... no play station... no smartphone or no data... no wifi .... no porn to watch but he has a wife laying half naked in the cramped living space conserving on washing... she too with nothing to do.... so what else can they do?... but do the do?.. do you really think at those moments either one be thinking about pregnancy?... let alone another child? .. or having another child who may be the one to blow? They happen to have many children... and the children almost always manage to grow to adults .... and contribute more to society than the few children of the rich that do more harm to society.

Arguably, the prime cause of poverty is illiteracy and most times, only illiterates and poor family give birth to multiple children thinking one of them will be successful to lift the family out of poverty, that is the higher the number of children, the higher the chance of having a successful child.

Furthermore, the cheapest and major source of pleasure for a poor man is sex
In other words, they have as much children as the poor or even more, only that they are scattered across the length and breadth of the world with various women...

It's more of personality, life experience and knowledge of the need to birth what you are capable of taking care of...
