when did you do your upfront medicals?

Sylvester4040:
Urgent!!!
I just got a medical request from ircc today despite doing an upfront medical.
Should I book a new medical appointment or send the one I had previously done.
I'd really appreciate if I can get any response as quick as possible.

Hello beautiful people,

This is my case, I'll appreciate every input on this. I have mentioned it here before but I would just like to be more open about it.

I am in the process of paying my deposit to Centinnial for Electromechanical Engineering Course (Ontario College Advance Diploma), the course requires a degree holder with experience.(see attached).(2-yr)

I would have further into master's degree but my grades are low. Also Post-Graduate course seem to be only 1-yr. I've been told I need a 2-yr program to get a work permit after studies. Yes i can take PGD and later further into master, tbh I'm not ready for another master's I'm currently taking my MSC program and will end soon. I just need a practical course to launch me into an industry.

For the sake of the VO, if my intended program won't be convincing enough, can I find a PGD program and upon getting to Canada I can switch to a 2-yr practical program? How possible and convenient is this switch.

God bless you all for all your assistance.

Secondly, can one see direct flights with two or three stops to Brandon Airport.
Lastly what’s the procedure for paying through form A?

May the good Lord in his indefinite mercy and blessings grant all PPR hopeful the best email of approval… Aameen..

CIBC international student pay or flywire, which one is better please? This is listed by Centinnial as one of the payment options.

Thanks

Thank you all for your well wishes.

By the way, I am a Notary Public and have decided to give back to this community. One of the things I thought of doing is to notarize and certify documents (affidavits, declarations, letters of sponsorship, letters generally, deeds of gift, deeds generally, instruments, certificates generally any other documents) for members at a discounted rate (Nairaland rate).

Kindly contact me if you are interested.

It shall end in praise for us all.

Please Gurus here, is police clearance certificate really compulsory?
Does having it increase one's chances of getting approval?

Hello Good Morning please I will like to have a conversation with you. I also got admitted to Seneca college as well…

I sent you a email request already. Hoping I get a response.

highburygonner:
God did it. I give him all the praise. This would have been impossible without Him.

My journey to Canada began in 2014, when I submitted an application for the Federal Skilled Workers program. I sent my documents to Canada in December of 2014, and in April of 2015, I called to inquire about the status of my application, only to be informed that it had been returned to my address because the NOC that I applied for was full. I never received those documents back.

I was devastated, having invested time, effort, and money. My then agent requested that I reapply immediately through the newly introduced express entry program, as I met all of the requirements but was too emotionally exhausted to undergo the process again. I basically gave up on the Canadian dream.

Life goes on.

In 2017, my wife and I made the decision to try again. In 2018, I entered the pool, but my points were just too low to get an invitation to apply. I also applied for PNP in some provinces, but I wasn't selected.

This time, however, we resolved not to give up. We will keep trying.

Going to Canada through study was never appealing to me.

All that changed last year, when we decided to try the study route. I came here to learn the requirements and the process involved. I was astounded by the quantity of information I received. I read parts 18–20 to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire process. I discovered that I could do it myself after receiving loads of information here.

I applied and got admitted to some schools, but decided to settle for Seneca College (1 year program PG).

After paying the 1st semester tuition fees in February, I realized that the available funds would not be enough to show proof of funds. We then decided to sell one of our properties. From the proceeds of the sales, I was able to pay the second semester tuition fees and send some money to my spouse's account for family upkeep (I did all these things to demonstrate that the lump sum was not intended for demonstration purposes).

Timeline:
Application submitted May 11th, 2022.
Biometric was done on the 16th of May, 2022 and was updated the same day.
I booked June 20, 2022 for an upfront medical at IOM.
Medical request in the early hours of June 18th. Omo I was excited.
Medical done: 20th of June
Medical updated: 22nd of June.
BVL: 30 June 2022
PPR: 30 June 2022

Documents submitted:
SOP
LOE (extensively explaining lump sum, breaking down proof of funds, etc.)
LOA
Tuition fees receipt (full year payment)
Attestation of Birth certificate
MBS (5 different accounts)
Police Character Certificate
NIN
Offer of appointment letter
Confirmation of offer of appointment letter
Salary increment letter
Recommendation letter from CEO
Reference letter from my immediate boss
Study leave approval letter
4 months payslips
4 months MBS salary acc.
Staff ID Card
Marriage certificate
Consent letter from spouse
Family pictures
Spouse's NIN and Birth certificate
Children' s NIN and Birth certificate

ND/ HND Certificate
WES evaluation
Résumé
Professional certificates
NYSC certificate
Properties (Valuation Reports)
Deed of assignment and power of Attorney of property sold
Cars (proof of ownership certificates)

A guy I did medical with on the 20th had his medical updated on the 23rd and received PPR on the 24th, so I was concerned when I didn't receive PPR after my medical was updated to pass. Due to this, anxiety nearly killed me.I was wondering why I had not yet received PPR and what could have caused the delay.
Yesterday at 4 p.m., I began sending emails to a number of email addresses found on this page. I submitted a web form to Nairobi as well.
Then, I received the golden mail this morning.
I believe that the email and web form did the trick.

A big shout out to Justmellow for writing an outstanding SOP and for reviewing my final documents.I emailed him a lengthy draft. He shortened it into a 3-page study plan, and it made a lot of sense, though I had to write an elaborate LOE.
Thanks to Frank for providing me with advice that altered the entirety of my application.
I am grateful to Anon for reviewing my documents at a very short notice.
God bless you all.
A special shout out to @ACTIVATEOLUWASE, a brother I met here. When I needed assistance with my Form A, he graciously walked me through the steps. Thanks brother. I eagerly anticipate your good news.
Thanks to all contributors, you are all doing a yoeman' s job. God bless you all.
God will certainly remember all PPR hopefuls.

I apologize for the long post.

Here's the problem. I have an 0'level Certificate, and i intend applying to a school in Canada with just my O'level certificate and it is 13yrs Old. I have the funds to travel, but the problem is that I'm a Crypto-Currency Trader on PAXFUL and this doesn't require a document from the Corporate Affairs commission.

From everything I've read i think a document stating how you got the money will be required, Yes Crypto is Legal in Canada but i think document to back it up that I'm a trader must be required i only have history of my Paxful Transactions.

Please i will like to know how i will go about this, your ideas, suggestions, and guide will be much appreciated.

I currently reside in Ghana and my whatsapp number is +233245695036 or email garogers1961@gmail.com.

Thanks.

You can get admission with your O'level irrespective of your age and year of graduation.

IRCC does not require you explain the source of your money in as much as you mention your job. Your job already explains your income source. They are concerned about the source of lump sums if you have one or more.

If Crypto trading is not outlawed in Ghana, it's a legitimate source of income. All you need to show is a statement of account from the broker, and show how the cryptos are converted to cash. You must be able to establish the relationship or transfers between the sales of crypto and your bank account.

First thing to do is renew your passport.

You may want to look into these programs and decide whether they are suitable;

1. PGC. Agri-Business. 2 Years.
LAMBTON COLLEGE.

CRYPTO TRADING GHANA
________________________________________

not yet legal because it is not recognized as a legitimate form of currency. This is because all media of exchange in the country must be supported by the Bank of Ghana, which has not yet approved the use of cryptocurrencies. use of cryptocurrencies do not currently exist in Ghana.

Since it's not yet Legal in Ghana i guess that will affect my Application and i don't want to do the try and error thing. Please is there an E-mail i can contact you on? It will be very much appreciated because I'd love to know if there are other ways to proof how i got the amount of money apart from Crypto.

God bless you i will be anticipating a swift response.

Thanks.

If crypto is not yet legal in Ghana, is it outlawed?

You should be able to differentiate between banning and legalising. Crypto may not be a legal tender in Ghana but may not be banned.

You should know better because you live in Ghana. I can say for Nigeria, crypto is not a legal tender and banned: hence, it is not a legitimate source of income in Nigeria.

Before crypto was outlawed in Nigeria, it was a legitimate source of income but not a legal tender.

I hope you now understand the difference.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by BeatThaMeat: 8:59am On Jul 02, 2022
Thanks for your response once again. It's not a legitimate source of income here in Ghana also just like Nigeria. However Ghana Laws centered around Crypto Currency trading is far better than Nigeria. That is the only problem i am having right now, and i do not want to go about listening to people that will tell you to obtain fraudulent documents to back of proof of the money in the Account that is why i need your advice on this. I know i am taking much of your time but i wouldn't mind a mentorship, if there's an E-mail or Whatsapp phone number that i can contact you on it will be much appreciated.

God bless You!
