If you watched Oparanozie at the 2019 world cup you'll never ever ask for her to be called up and the way the SF play by hitting long balls over defense then a slow striker like Oparanozie will be a minus...

After Oshoala got injured in the world cup, she couldn't carry the team... now in 2022, there's Uchenna Kanu, Onumonu, Ordega, Ajibade, Vivian Ikechukwu, Macleans, Gift Monday, Flourish Sebastian e.t.c who can all carry the team if the main striker is injured..

3 years ago, SF would have struggled to score without Oshoala..

Let's see what they play against Cameroon.
I remember clearly. That depth is still there still. Especially inside the box. If na Wafcon level, she will deliver. But the gulf in class always shows at the WC that's why i want them to improve in setpieces for advantage. They still haven't. These long balls won't work at World Cup

That is too trivial. Lets leave those issues for politics and governance. It will end up destroying our football.
It's an afterthought. Nothing bad in dropping that observation. Its that fellow trying to see fire where no firewood dey.

Based on her prowess, Okobi is underperforming. She is not playing to her level yet.

Okobi barely made this squad. What level are u talking about? Judge her according to the job she has been given.

BV, i saw many selfish play o. But it's alright sha.

The joy is they're creating more chances directly from the defence. E remain through the middle. Ayinde's name comes into the fold.

I only saw Kanu not passing to the players behind her which is natural for a striker.

Y'all should stop emphasizing on Burundi's squad age... Nobody asked them to come to the tournament with 9 teenagers as if it's an underage competition.....

If a 39 yr old lady is able to consistently hold her own against 15 yr old young bucks, then MASSIVE kudos to her.
For those who are 30+ Here and have scrimmaged against really good and fit teenagers, it’s no small feat.

I want to know what Ebi is doing (eating and fitness regime) to be up to the task.
I hail her and biggest props to her!

Leave those people. Even if Super falcons win world cup, you'll start hearing statements like "This year's World Cup was not very competitive".

She really killed it.

Looks like they are learning how to relax off the field and explode with aggression on the field.
That’s the right balance which most championship teams exhibit.

Kudos to them.

No...I'm talking about Okobi I've been watching since her early days in NT. Though, I noticed she has improved tremendously in defence as I was surprised seeing her tracking back. We need her to pull out that defence splitting passes we have known her for.
