Please for sponsorship documents (accommodation) apart from council tax bill, what else can be provided for homeowners, not rented accommodation
Thanks
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Nobody: 7:53am On Jul 13, 2022
It was stated apply 3 months ahead but considering your biometric timing 25th May. You should be expecting a response from them this week or latest next week. I will also advise you send a paid mail to ascertain this. Its also advisable you get your bags ready because if the suppose date elapse, you need to find a concrete lie to tell the Immigration office at port of entry. Gudluck

Did biometric on 18th May in Ikeja, Got refusal on 7th July, so confirming that post on if you did biometric earlier with no response yet then most likely you have good news coming.

Professionals please what is your counsel on this refusal, provided dorm account statement with about $5k and stated in cover letter that the dorm account is my savings. Access statement & payslips showed other allowance i get aside salary but it appears the ECO didnt take time to assess application

My application was escalated on 07/07/2022. They said I should wait 15 working days before contacting. With what I've read online, I'm not sure it add so much but it's a step towards the right direction. We can only wait and wait... Waiting is crazy though, been waiting since 2nd February
Justpat:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please i need to be guided. based the above response to my paid mail. I sent a follow up on the 15th working day and got a response with like a form asking me to supply my details such as name, passport number GWF number and so on to enable them determine if my correct details was received by UKVI.

my biometric date was 15th March 2022 at Abuja TLS

Visa type is visitor visa.

after 17 weeks without decision, upon my submission of the details they requested. I got a response that my case has been escalated to relevant department.

Has anyone had a case like this before? I am absolutely worried. If only i had my passport with me.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Haiziik: 1:02pm On Jul 13, 2022
This doesn't mean it's either positive or negative. It simply means decision hasn't been made but it's at the DMC. I guess the people we send paid mail to doesn't have much information about the visa application. All they see is 'being considered for decision' or 'decision made' so when they realize the number of times you've sent a paid mail is going on the rise or bio date is a long time before enquiry, they ask for your details and send to DMC (escalation) even if DMC doesn't take a decision in 15 working days they will still need to contact them. They can't do anything from their end, they only see the status.
But what I have seen is DMC attending more to May and June now. They left Feb, March and April to wait in limbo. Pathetic, they're full of stupid bureaucracy, they care less about some countries but they're not to be blamed. Look at the processing time of Canadians, relatively faster than here and some other countries. If our country is good, they won't get that high number of applicants from here

AbelPre:
I sent a paid mail to ukvi.. Pls what does it mean the UKvi says I can confirm your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision? Does it mean I should be positive?

First ... Your budget was too high... (U must have used black market rate for ur calculations). Ur budget should be between £1300-1500 for a 9days trip even if ur a billionaire. Did you explain how you were able to save $5k? Do u get paid in dollars or are you into forex trade ? Since when have you had the £.5k in ur savings? Moreso ur naira account balance must have been so low in the past months so they realized you couldnt afford to finance the proposed trip. Let me ask you this, Have you ever had more than 1.5m or atleast 1milla in ur account in the past 6 months?... Cos the ECO is more concerned with your naira account
