however, if carrying the grudge from generation to generation makes you feel better, be my guest. But I really don't see how it helps. If we must remain as a country, what is in the past should only serve as a tool of learning, and not an instrument of hate.

Dude, leaving Nigeria is possible but not as easy as you’re making it out to be! As can be seen with the present IPOB/Biafra agitation, it would be difficult for the Yoruba to leave without the support of at least one other leg on which the tripod stands!

If the South East really wanted to leave Nigeria, their leaders would ask for referendum but the thing is their leaders don't want to leave. They know the south east are better in Nigeria than without it , especially since the south south don't want to come with them.

Maybe Ipob wanted to leave or not, but one of their major work was to disturb Buhari's administration because they don't like Buhari. I mean they started their agitation as soon as Buhari became the president. They didn't even give him a chance to begin with.

The first military coup was led by we igbos no doubt, the young military officers that carried out that coup never had tribe or religion in mind when they carried out that coup in fact the entire Nigeria celebrated that coup in its first week cause they believed the military had taken action against the politicians that were pulling the country backward but few weeks later the celebration turned to anger and test for Igbo blood cause they said it was an Igbo coup , a counter coup led to the killing of ironsi and many Igbo military officers they were not satisfied they turned to Igbo civilians and killed close to 30 thousand all these things happened before the civil war , it was done with hate for Igbo and the hate is still there

U didn't see the good side were I praise afonjas for their adminstration skills, playful attitude, entertaining and money spenders.they are fun to be with.i know them as my current main girlfriend is a Yoruba Christian.
But afonjas badside are cowordice,badstabbing, betrayingg,liaring,derty, propagandistt,slavvish attitude of baba I don bale for youoo,weak,lack of confidence and very fearful.
I served in their land so I know them.
My tribe ijaws also have our good side like extremely brave,daring, lovable,giving attitude that we don't care who is benefiting from our oil, togetherness etc
Our badside is too much enjoyment,lack of planning,strategy and we live for the moments.
So we as a people must embrace our good and bad.
Note it can't be 100 percent but more than 70 percent of us tribes affects us positively and negatively.

Afonja is the Yoruba man that betrayed his fellow yorubas in illorin and dashed fulanis their land to these days.
So most people who want to provoke yorubas Muslims call them afonjass.
Afonja also mean a Yoruba Muslim who loves his religion more than his fellow Yoruba and can betray his fellow Yoruba for a fulani man.
