Accelerated BSN is for people that have RN. You can't study computer science and you will be given 18 months to have Bachelor of Science in Nursing. It's not done.

It is actually. Most ABSN accept anyone with a science degree as long as they have the required prerequisites.

Hello sir, I would advice you to get into the US for a PhD. Most PhD in your field are fully funded. This removes the financial stress from you and makes your visa application easier. While in the US, you can start the ABSN program online or on campus. I personally think a degree in Biochemistry will cover all prerequisites, most nursing schools would want you to evaluate your result with Wes to see if they are equivalent with their own classes.

RN is the basis. That's what most international recruiters want. I have someone that helps RN nursing get jobs in US. He also helps to facilitate admission to do BSN. I know someone that finished RN in Nigeria, she's now in US working and doing her ABSN.

Getting RN in Nigeria is the easiest way. Getting BSN in Nigeria is wahala because of strikes, etc.
Getting BSN in US is very expensive, except you attend CC and do RN in US.

You’re correct sir. Most international recruiters have the RN as a MINIMUM and not the standard. Most no longer accept it for visa sponsorship. Some do, but the majority want someone with a bachelors degree. You can confirm from practicing nurses or from the nursing thread.

So a 30years old should apply for a CC? Isn’t that automatic refusal? How would he explain the gap from secondary school? Now of my business sha. I have advised the person accordingly. Finally your friend cannot be a nurse and a Dr. If he didn’t complete residency in the US, he is most likely a nurse.

My cousin sister was asked to schedule a follow-up visa interview after her visa was approved in the first interview. Has anyone experienced this before?

This happened to me in Abuja, December 2021. No interview was done, and no reason was given to me. The VO just said "unfortunately you no longer qualify for the visa which you applied for", and my passport was returned to me with blue paper. I had to defer and I'm about to go for another interview.

I don't know your sister's situation, but you have my best wishes.

Check to confirm if your status is still active, if yes, call the embassy to inform them that that was the only available date you could find, I think you’d be fine, I know someone whose visa approved in May but his Sevis fee expired in April

Yea, it’s a called a referral program. As a nurse you can refer other nurses to a hospital you have agreement with.. or you are working with..
