It’s better you emphasize more on him waiting to get his CAS first cos his POF could be mature by the time he gets it. I don’t think he can be able to proceed further with the application anyways without CAS. (I stand to be corrected)

The simple answer is No. you must state your CAS when filling the visa application form. Also if you read through this thread, you’ll see cases where people who paid their application fees prior to POF maturity (28 days) were refused. Though some people have gotten away with this, it’s best to err on the side of caution and wait the number of days as stated by the UKVI

You have to be patience with BCU it will come but it usually take time....I had to drop my admission at some point, they take forever to reply mails,..if it's Birmingham you want to live there are many other beautiful schools around...and the funniest thing is that all the schools are almost lumped together in the same place...nothing special bro...

Yea, printing of SOA for UKVI shouldnt include the date where the lump sum was deposited; to avoid issues from UKVI.

I got a refusal mail from ukvi on 7th July 2022 and it was refused on the ground that the home office was enable to contact my financial institution for my proof of fund verification ( Ecobank ) which I guess was an error from the ukvi caseworker.
I went to make a formal complaint to my bank and they denied receiving any mail/call to that effect, ( which their contact details was available on the copy of the statement of account I uploaded during my visa application ). they equally contacted the home office via their official email on 13th July 2022. they got a reply from home office, which they were asked to verify the statement of account on 14th July 2022 and they ( Ecobank) did verify the account. I contacted the school about it and they said they will reached out to the home office..
Meanwhile I got a mail from Tlscenter on 13th July 2022 that my passport is ready for collection, but I was later contacted by the school that from their records the issue have been resolve and decision overturned, that a visa has been issued on 15th July 2022, that was 2days after I have already receive my collection mail from Tlscenter.. But still I have not yet received any mail from the home office about the overturned decision.
I have contacted the school again and they told me same thing that from their record , a visa have been issued after the ukvi overturned the decision on 15th July 2022..
I sent a message via paid mail yesterday to the ukvi but they didn't give me any better response.
Someone said I should wait for them till next week before going to Tlscenter ..

Please run it like a normal account. As long as no withdrawal reduces the POF value and try to avoid depositing large sums into the account during the 28 days period.

Except you are worried about the weekend not showing up on the statement then thts another angle.

Actually, it’s to ensure the lump sum deposit doesn’t appear on the statement.

She actually can. Application was submitted on July 15, bank statement ends July 15, bank statement captures the required 28 days and more before the application so why wouldn't he/she be able to use it?
You can always show more than 28 days but not less @sugarsugarify

Yes, You can. The 2 month statement you printed on the 15th July is valid for 31 days from 15th July. 25th July is just 10 days after 15th July. You are on point, go ahead and upload.

Did you request for a review?

You can't depend solely on the bank and your Uni to chase up, they don't have your authorization to do so.

You are supposed to request for an administrative review on the refusal and I believe there is a time frame for that.

Nope, I wanted to go for an administrative review before the school sent me a mail that the issue have been resolved and I was given a visa . Then I waited to know if I will get a mail from the home office..

I opened unit bank account on 13th of July and initiated form A the same day. I've been approved@ADB disbursement reviewer just now.

Once the form was processed and they received forex from CBN it took 2 days. But note that I was constantly calling my account manager so that might have made it faster.
