The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lagos State, says statistics show that the state currently has about seven million registered voters.

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Lagos state, Mr Olusegun Agbaje, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday.

According to him, if the number of new registrants so far in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) is added to those in the register of voters before in the state, the number will be about seven million.

“In Lagos state as of Monday (July 18), those who registered online are 640, 560 but many of them have not completed registration. Those who have completed the registration exercise are 451, 156.

“The total number of registered voters in Lagos State before the commencement of the ongoing CVR is 6,570,291, and if we add the new registrants, we have about seven million registered voters,” Agbaje said.

He, however, said the ongoing CVR had not ended and the commission was still capturing more people before the deadline on July 31.

The INEC boss said there would not be any extension of the CVR because the commission had lots of work to do on the voters’ register before printing of the Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs)

He assured that those who presented themselves for registration would not be denied.

Tinubu will lose Lagos, open to staking with anyone.

That's is buharis plan. Osun is gone, by next year, Lagos will follow. Tinubu will have to relocate to Benin republic.

Currently in ajah grin the way things dey for Lagos, if mc oluomo and his boys allow free and fair election in Lagos grin

Obi fit get 60% votes theregrin

Same Ajah that fall under under Lagos East and Senate election just days after the arson attack on Lagos hiding under endsars still gave an overwhelming landslide victory to APC.

Most of you do not know Lagos. Lagos will never allow non-indigenes choose leaders for Lagos and that is enough to tell you all where the major registration is coming from.
Democracy is a game of numbers and that is it.

Lagos can't get to Abuja and has short 1 or more among the comity of states. Non indigenes patriotic Nigerian that have integrated themselves in Lagos may have a chance at making the list of elected officials but definitely not any non indigene leaning to the ipob terrorist tendencies. It can never ever happen wink

All these tribal and religious bigotry and hatred online against Asiwaju Tinubu by some non indigenes is not lost on Lagosians , it just makes Lagosians more prepared just like 2019 when the indigenes will rather die than have a non indigene without any stake and integrated in Lagos take an elective post to represent them or determine who will represent Lagos.

Nobody will take Lagos from Asiwaju or Asiwaju from Lagos after his labour and sacrifice for us.

Yes and Tinubu will get 80% vote in Anambra.

Obituary supporters always get their inspiration from mad people like Obi.

You know àgbàdo and cassava sells more, don't you? grin grin

Don't worry, campaign will soon start and your oga would start commiting blunders again. So many "words on marble" from his lips.

I have said this and will keep repeating it:

Except something really major happen before the elections, Peter Obi will win Lagos next year.

Apart from all the SE states, Lagos is the other state i am almost certain Obi will win, even before states like Edo or Rivers.

Also, Lagos has the highest number of registered voters in the country(way more than Kano). Kano has always had a higher vote count cos more people turnup on elections there than in Lagos and cos of unrestrained rigging from incidence forms. It will be different this time around.

2023 will be interesting

This is Great news for Obi. If it were Ogun or Oyo then I would say 70 percent of them would vote for Tinubu.
But Lagos has more Igbos than Anambra. Calabar, Edo and Delta full Lagos. Like you say, Allahu Akbar

They should go to their state and vote Obi. We don’t want bastards in Lagos. Bastards destroy the house where they live.

Go to Anambra and spread your wings (like your fellow ipig below). If you try any act of violence in Lagos you will be barbequed. Trust me. Lessons have been learnt from your (Ibos) attempts to burn down Lagos under the guise of endsars.

Protest votes... you are right
Most of this new voters registrations are triggered by Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) aggressive voters registration campaigns across churches every Sunday and at Christian gatherings and also Peter Obi supporters
Sanwolu should just focus on his reelection and try as best as possible to avoid associating himself with Tinubu's Presidential campaign all the time, cos this Muslim Muslim ticket issue will causes lot of protest votes across the country in 2023 against several politicians and ,make some politicians lose their election, which is same reason Taraba APC Governorship candidate has come out to deny he endorsed Tinubu ticket.
I hope there won’t be shout of Muslim agenda if Muslims begin their apartheid agenda as well.

Lagos Presidential results go shock Tinubu and his BAT zombies .
Tinubu (Muslim Muslim ticket) has already denied himself automatically at least 3 million Christian votes in Lagos, 80% of Lagos Christian Votes will be shared by Atiku-PDP (Ifeanyi Okowa (Christian VP) ) and Peter Obi-Labour Party.
If I slap u wotoporiously now, u will delete da rubbish
