You are spot on my bro. We have the quickest transition from defence to attack in the EPL but it's not always attack attack attack, there are times when you need to sit back and suck up pressure that's where he comes in and he's been doing that excellently well except for the few cases you pointed out which is pardonable seeing that no player is immune to mistakes.

He's already playing the tactics - ball retainer. He's role's is limited. He's not been given the freedom to go beyond that like Countinho.

I could have still fancied another natural DM in that midfield. Hendo plays optimally when he's deployed as a CM. Nothing beats playing in your natural position. Fabinho as DM and Hendo as CM is always a joy to watch, he hardly puts a foot wrong bro.

Trent play DM He’d get eaten alive as a DM. I think Hendo can deputize for Fabinho easily. In fact there are matches where I think playing Hendo as the deepest of the midfielders is better for the team. He’s quicker in transitions even though his penchant for sideway passes could be annoying.

Trent playing defensive midfield is suicide mission. The only two persons who can hold that spot down for us are Fabinho and Henderson.

Tweaks should be made to improve the team's overall performance and not to diminish it. Trent is the best player in Liverpool for RB position while Fab and Hendo are the best people for DM. There is no need for us to tweak anything as far as I'm concerned bros.

Because he has more defensively gifted people to cover for him whenever he overlaps. If you play him as a DM he would be useless both defensively and offensively. They will overrun our midfield. Trent have been phenomenal playing RB for us these past years. See the way he's breaking assist records every season. He's a great asset offensively but defensively he's just average.

I strongly believe we will be seeing more of 4-2-3-1 as against 4-3-3. Trent doesn't has that physicality to play DM. About injuries...fingers crossed, with the amount of matches we played last season ehn...sha options dey

Between Fabinho and Trent who has more weight? Or pace.
You can't judge him based on how he plays as a RB for how he will play as a DM.

I like Curtis, I think he will become better with time...

The major problem is a clash of identity playing style wise, he's conflicted on completely shedding his academy way of playing that has him holding on to the ball to make better decisions and a present style that needs him to release quicker to aid transitions....
I think his thought process is, if he releases quickly, he might make a mistake so in the end, he ends up doing everything and nothing...He presses though which is a plus to his game and I think considering the people in that midfield, he will learn and become better....

I also think he should have been played in a more attacking role..
