Yeah, she is very right. Most Nigerians, especially those who have been abroad for years want new comers to go through the same process of hardship they went through before making it. But among these wicked people, you meet very good ones.

But then, what I noticed is that, some new ones are ingrates too, some are very wicked; they are ready to even step on their helpers to make it. So many have even gotten into trouble trying to help their countrymen. So most people just face their lane, but some don't care, they help if they have the power to, but keeps everyone at arms length to avoid getting into trouble, except a very small circle of friends ( 2or 3). Some even stay away totally from the gatherings of blacks altogether.

Most times, you can't just blame them; individual experiences, if you get me.

Do Nigerians who reside in Nigeria love themselves, cooperate for the common good or have enlightened self-interest?

So why were you expecting them to migrate to another land and suddenly develop a nationalistic sense of camaraderie?

Nigerians abroad are more interested in fighting for exco positions or sharing money in their tribal conclaves like Egbe Omo Odua in Texas, Ibadan Peoples Union in Washington, Igbo Union in Atlanta etc. Anything apart from that is none of their business.

This is why we have thousands of Nigerians who have been living in the UK since the 1950s (never returned to Nigeria). Yet, they don't have any political clout or have a say in British political affairs (Kemi Badenoch doesn't count).

All they did was turn Peckham into Lagos, i.e. import Lagos's bad parts and features to the UK.

Better hustle for yourself and don't look for Nigerians to help you.

Nigerians abroad will fail you the same way the Nigerian government failed them.

Very bad. Nigerians are really wicked to themselves abroad. That's how they fight and Kill themselves in South Africa and other countries. You need to be your brothers' keeper and love yourselves before expecting the people you are residing in their country to love you and not reject you always.

The woman no lie oo, a lot of Nigerians have wickedness in their DNA oo, the other day I went to an embassy, I swear, every body dey avoid the Nigerian personnel at all cost.

When I leave this country, I will try to avoid any Nigerian I come across unless you can proof to be otherwise.

With the exception of igbos. That idea of having town union meetings and state meetings, even local governments is helping igbos. Once you attend those meetings, they always find to solve their general problems.
Even the Nigerian union meetings, only the igbos attends and takes it serious.
