Good day everyone,
I am to resume by this fall at centennial college, September 6 to be precise.
But I've applied for my visa since may 14th and up till now still nothing from ircc end, I'm thinking of deferring my admission to January but I found out centennial college doesn't allow deferment.
Please what can I do?.

Thank you very much.

My program is expected to take 16 months, with the graduation ceremony in 2024. Fingers crossed this is taken into consideration by IRCC when stamping my passport.

JustMellow:

Hello Slayxo,

Big congratulations on your victory. You don't need to notify IRCC. The same also applies if an initial course is changed. It is only mandated if a change of DLI was considered. Thus, it is your responsibility to enter Canada prior before the visa vignette appended to the passport expires.

Prosper!

Ok thank you..

I have a study visa but I haven't travelled yet, I want to apply for a visitor visa for my spouse so we can travel together.

Does your response still suffice in this case.

Thank you
JustMellow:

Hello Creativebelle,

Both the embassy address and that of your spouse should appear on the letter. The invitation intent should be communicated to the embassy.

Success is all I wish You!

Really, really anticipating for those waiting for their Visa, I hope good things for everyone. Anyone going to Conestoga college and would like to share a room or something? Please, is there any Conestoga college link for Nigerians via telegram or what’s app? Just asking. My program begins January 2023

Good evening all,

Please does an 11 year old need to take covid 19 vaccine. Is it mandatory that she takes the vaccine before accompanying her mum to canada on an open study permit.

I will really appreciate your response.

Timeline;

Thank you, Lord

I applied in the United Arab Emirates since I have been living here for over 2years. As per the IRCC portal, a medical certificate was not required. I also applied using an active RCIC agent.

Submitted my complete application on May 20th
Biometrics: May 23rd and it was updated 3 hours after.
Then the wait began.....
Eligibility started on the 21st of July
Received a request for additional documents on the 22nd of July and responded the same day.
Got an update that they are reviewing my additional docs on August 8th and August 10th PPR.

Documents;
(1). All duly completed forms for SP application (IMM)
(2). Letter of explanation (6pages) :
{Introduction
relevance the of Target program
Why am I in the united Arab emirates?
Why did I choose to study in Canada?
Why did I choose uni of Calgary?
Funding for my studies
Home ties}
(3) Family pictures, ID, and conferences attended
(4) 3 recommendation letters; one from my place of work here and 2 from top companies in Nigeria ready to accept me upon my return
(5) bank statement of 4 months with 6.5m notwithstanding my fully funded scholarship for my medical research. I still showed I can pay my fees.
(6) Two landed properties as gift deed
(7) parents' houses, cars, and stuff
(8.) my resident visa here
(9) proficiency in English cert.
(10) professional courses taken moving in the developmental trajectory of my chosen course.
(11) my course registration form for Fall 2022 ( since I am fully funded I had an open portal to register)
(12) police clearance cert from Nigeria and the UAE
(13) CV
(14) covid cert ( not a requirement but just did)

That's pretty much it.

I'm open to connecting with anyone going to uni of Calgary this fall. Heard the house prices are great lol so will like to know one maybe we could share. Thanks

For those waiting to be called, you will TESTIFY TOO AND BE CELEBRATED!!! I AM WAITING FOR YOU ALL. GOD BLESS ALL THE GURUS FOR THIER TIME AND ENERGY IN RENDERING FREE SOLUTIONS. THANK YOU AND THANK YOU.

Thanks babe. I was overwhelmed with joy and I didn't see your response. Thank you so much.

Yes, I did my biometrics in Abuja. I'll send all the 'sendables' tomorrow.

CharitoJames:

There is an updated payment now. I guess you are sending to Abuja because it’s faster...if you did your biometrics in Abuja I don’t think you are to pay anything. Just send it to them. But if you didn’t do biometrics in Abuja... you are to pay 9410 transmission fee then 990 sms fee which is 10,400 in total, print out the receipt of the payment and attach then buy a brown envelope that can contain A4 paper and attach to it too. Let’s wait for others

@olasubomy
good evening, I saw your post on how to retrieve one's application from an agent. Should I go ahead and do likewise as the agent has not been straight forward and keeping all the necessary information away from me apart from my application number, uci number, IRCC number (which I got from the small sticker attached to the back of the yellow slip I got at the biometrics collection center) and biometrics ID. The email on the slip is different from the one I use and put down. Also, she has so far sent me documents containing 3 different application numbers (red flag). The only one (most recent) I know is genuine is the one on the biometrics instruction letter. One of the previous ones was written on the notarized sponsorship letter from my sponsor and the other one is contained on the letter of confirmation of application (which looks doctored in every sense), according to this, the application was submitted in march, but I did biometrics on 4th July, 2022 and upfront medical on April, 26th. I don't have access to the dashboard and I've already put in for a deferral. The next resumption date is in late September, 2022. Other gurus have tried to help me in every way they can, but I would want to check things for myself to be sure she didn't submit any fake documents or that she put in an application at all. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

MsLoolah:
Yesso I did, it’s only God. I originally applied in March 2021 last year for a 4 years bachelors degree and got approved in August 2021. I went to Canada in December 2021 and decided to change my course and school, so the best option was to return back home to reapply.

Also I wanted to include my husband in my second application, so I just closed my eyes and left it to God.

And to God be the glory because I got approved again and so did my husband.

Are we to sign the consent portion if sending passport through DHL? If so, who are we to include? Is just the name of the courier company like DHL?

I need guidance as my documents were returned from abuja office stating it is transmission fee and sms. Meanwhile, i paid N10,500 and attached the receipts and all the document.
