These Europeans want to drain our life out of us in Nigeria, using the opportunity of having bad leaders and colliding with them to kill the good ones that want to turn Nigeria to a better country.
Almighty God will judge you all.

To be fair you missed you Obasanjo and GEJ they both did a good job in hindsight

We are talking about having the Gas-to-Electric Generation apparatus being ready before May 2023,, and assuming that Agbado takes over..
Won't he take the glory??
But then, apart from that,, remember that Nigeria has a very poor maintenance culture.
Would the machineries be properly and constantly maintained.??
(I won't give my own answer to this question though - answer it for yourself on behalf of your preferred candidate)
Take what glory? He might be corrupt, but he's not a liar.

The equipments will be properly and constantly maintained. The cause of the daily collapse of our power grid is that too much power is sent to it. All the power generated by all the gencos goee to a single power grid. So it will keep collapsing no matter how much you maintain it.

Those who are very happy with these kind of news are those who love exploitation especially those that don't have oil in their region. The oil and gas producing communities are devasted due to the exploration. Go to those communities, you will weep for black man and their pathetic wickedness. Nobody cares as far as its not affecting them directly. These are the kind of people that will baff in the morning and stand under the hot sun to vote in misfits just because of tribalism/religious belief. In addition, the mindset of conquest by certain group of people in the country who are influenced by religion won't move the country forward. With all the oil revenue, nothing significant to show for. And yet people are so comfortable, it's terrible.
So we should be sad about this News? You guys are cursed abeg. Stop hiding.

I don’t have much time to counter everything you analyze but I will tell you one thing! Even if these crooks we call leaders finish the national cake kpata kpata! Like one kobo nor remain! Nigerians won’t shake, Nigerians won’t fumble because we as a people are independent from the government. We buy fuel cheapest anywhere in the world but chances of someone buying large quantities of fuel in the US or UK is slimmer than an average Nigerian. Take for example i fuel my car, fuel my Gen in my house, fuel my Gen in office everyday. Yearly my home fuel consumption is 1,098,000! Just my home alone! Another factor you will consider is the purchasing power of our currency! That’s even the reason we buy cheaper and the reason for subsidy they use in finishing us. Why can’t government build new refineries? Why? Because important of fuel is a big business for our crooks like Otedola and the rest vultures who call themselves marketers. This country na jungle!
The money that will be used to maintain and build new refineries were spent on subsidies fuel. Until they comot fuel subsidy we go dey where we dey

Quick question. Are we going to be the ones drinking our oil and gas?

Is Russia a slave nation for it to be supplying over 40% of European gas?

Quick answer, the EU turned to USA, Saudi and Qatar but they rejected because they didn’t have the capacity and couldn’t supply more than what they have… Nigeria as a lawless and very corrupt nation don’t even have the capacity to produce nor manage what we are exporting to Europe. If you are well read and you understand geo-politics and diplomacy, you did know that Nigeria is a pawn and puppet nation to western nations, what the western nations offers Nigeria in form of diplomacy is threats, sanctions and bribes.

Have you asked yourself, what is Nigeria benefiting in return from the oil and gas stolen from its chores? Printed paper which is backed by nothing and will be paid in European banks and in their currency which still stays in their economy. You see one of the reasons why that naira you hold in your hand doesn’t have value? You see why you have to give testimony when you get visa to go to Europe to still go work as a slave? I can go on and on…

This level of this topic might be too complicated for you to understand, it’s deep brother and I would be wasting my time explaining to someone like you who is trapped in a western bubble.

The only African leaders that are living and can stand up to western threats is
President of Uganda
President of South Africa
President of Ghana
Then maybe president of Rwanda

But you see the rest are puppets and they are also agents of the three letter word agency

I ll give you a link below to give you a hint of how africa is viewed overseas

Bro, from your map, pls what is the distance between Nigeria and Europe that you think nigeria can build pipeline from here to Europe in a jiffy? Or you think that it is that close because you are looking at a map?

From what you are saying, the pipeline hasn't gotten to Kano. So which grammar are you speaking?

Look at this..."there are plans to gather funds to finance another stretch of pipelines from kano through Niger and connect to algeria..."

I responded to all your comment on that thread.

your problem is that you do not read to understand..

I clearly mentioned that Algeria already has a pipeline connected to two countries in Europe...technically we are building pipelines that will end in algeria..we then connect to the algerian pipelines that runs to Europe.. We are not building directly to Europe..

2nd bolded

the AKK pipeline project started in june 2020 and should terminate in 2023.. it is 614km..it began from ajaokuta..they have covered the whole of Kogi, abuja..they have gone half past kaduna..and will be in kano next year when the project is supposed to have been completed...there are no delays whatsoever..
note that it is a $2.8bn project financed by loans from China Exim bank

another stretch that will start from kano to algeria next year is what the FG is sourcing loans and partnership for..am pretty sure you saw the news here on nairaland some days ago where MOUs were signed between Nigeria, Niger and Algeria's petroleum ministers..that is the first step.. getting financial partners and banks is what each countries are working on as the next step because it is not a project that exclusively benefits Nigeria alone..
the enter length of the pipeline from Nigeria to algeria is 4,128km..by next year Nigeria would have built 614km..I do not have accurate data on the length of pipelines from warri to ajaokuta...but it no less than 200km.. about 3000km+ to go from kano to the Hassi R'mel field in algeria

Olodo.. so you don't know LPG is gotten from natural gas? See who is trying to form educated lipsrsealed

common sense is your problem..read what you quoted..

LPG can be gotten by processing raw natural gas..LPG can also be gotten from refining raw crude oil...but LPG and natural gas aren't the same thing.. LPG is used for cooking, heating or as a refrigerant only...raw natural gas can be used to produce Urea fertilizer, petrochemicals, plastic raw materials, hydrogen, chemicals, generate power, heating and sometimes cooking(this is not ideal for hot climate in Nigeria..what we used to cook is Butane (LPG)..it has other industrial use as well etc

didirin

what we are exporting is raw natural gas (methane) not LPG the same way we export raw crude oil not petrol or diesel...
olodo

Nigeria will begin producing sufficient LPG from crude oil as soon as Dangote completes his refinery..

Who asked you for all this stupid explanations you are giving? Did anyone say LPG and natural gas are the same thing? The person you quoted was complaining about the government wanting to export natural gas meanwhile cooking gas(which can be gotten from the same natural gas) is still very expensive for her citizens, since we have sufficient natural gas to sell to others why can't they use it to produce more cooking gas that will go round for her citizens

You must be comfortable with cooking with firewood in your akwaya.
Charity begins at home.
Let the gas be piped to homes in Nigeria first, the remainder can be sold to outsiders.
..
Gather investors, meet the government, obtain a license, create a distribution pipe and distribute it to people homes, make money pay taxes, that's how it's done. Don't expect government to spoon feed you.

am not surprised you would reason so low..

there is an existing pipeline from warri to ajaokuta...this new pipeline connects the old ones from ajaokuta and extends it to kano..

they so far passed the route across kogi and Abuja, currently in kaduna...by the beginning of next year they would have entered kano..

once it ends at kano..there are plans to gather funds to finance another stretch of pipelines from kano through Niger and connect to algeria...Algeria already has a fully built pipeline infrastructure connected to western Europe...but Algeria cant supply sufficient Natural Gas...this is where Nigeria comes in..we are not building anything to cross the Mediterranean as you ignorantly claimed..

and please educate yourself on the difference between Natural Gas and Liquified Petroleum Gas(LPG) also known as Cooking Gas and how each of them are gotten cuz they are not the same..and Nigeria is exporting Natural Gas not cooking Gas..stop disgracing yourself online

your comment is insightful.
Nigeria has 2 Trans Africa pipeline the Nigeria-Niger-Algeria and the Nigeria-Morocco pipeline which passes through the coast of West Africa countries with distribution supplying or adding to its mass. It's more expensive, takes the longer route and more safer.

You are not getting it that gas can be used to make 24hr electricity.

Europe needs the gas to power their electricity and keep them warm in winter.

No problem in selling the gas but why is the gas not used for Nigeria’s development.

The building of the pipeline would also improve our electricity and revive many industries across the North. There is also expansion of the Lagos-Escravos pipeline.

They said price should go down, the government should subsidize(with which money?) then in next 10 yrs gas production decline, 30 years it becomes comatose due to lack of fund for maintenance and improve further production, then we starts importing cheaper gas in large quantities naira turn 5000=$1 we blame the president then! Problem persist and we gnash our teeth, why? Because we forget to expand our customer base now.
