Let the Afonja history be told too.

It's sad that I had to learn from the media about how my former landlord, who's from Kwara, and speaks fluent yoruba, is being ruled by a Fulani till date.

How did they become a conquered nation and an eternal slave to another tribe, even till date...in a democracy?!

Good. Teach the history of the Nigerian civil war. It will help those deluded yoruba and northerners to understand what happened in Nigerian history and how badly they have behaved ever since.

Would help to stop the unwarranted bias, hatred and marginalisation of ndi igbo and minorities.

As well as the deluded Igbos to understand that no fight is one sided and no country on earth will willing accept cessation.

And that there has never ever been good or victimless war.

That there are no real innocent parties in any war.

But more importantly, the history of Nigeria does start and end with the Nigerian civil war just because it did not augur well for one party to the war.
Thank you.

Igbo and treachery are same, you have been slaves to the north for long, when Awolowo sought for southern unity, your cunny Azikwe went through the backdoor and started romance with the North, you need the lessons more my flat headed brother.

And about the war, only a fool goes to a war with the intent of still getting food from the enemy, your people have always been cursed with leaders that lack tact, just useless emotions, well I won't blame them seems the Igbo d.n.a generally lacks tact.
its a chance for igbos to also learn about the treachery of azikiwe, but also the negative role and betrayal awolowo played during the civil war. Maybe that will finally end the war being fought against the igbos.

On the war end. Read good books and understand why weapons were carried at the time to defend themselves. Attend the classes.

Best way to go. OBJ goofed to have removed that subject.
Since some people have started using other narratives, changing the stories as it's occurred to the ones their bitter fathers, uncles, grandfather, and their mothers told them.
Started saying LAGOS IS NO MAN's LAND, claiming they innovate and activate LAGOS.
Let the REAL history with FACTS begin to be hammered into this coming generation's HEAD.
If not, Lagos indigene will wake up one day, and some people will claim they part Atlantic ocean from Indonesia to Lagos, in other for easy development of their LAGOS to transport some goods to and fro, and some people will definitely believe them.
YES, I SAID SO, am in TULSA, come and beat me. cheesy

Bro to be frank, many hybrow houses everywhere in Lagos are owned by the igbo's, I hate this country for the hatred being propagated, normally every tribe no suppose get wahala sef, we are suppose to just live in peace and prosper together as a nation,, we are not supposed to be recording the amount of corruption, poverty and insecurity we are currently recording, many countries after their war they borrow sense and develop together, we learnt nothing from the bloody past

We're talking bout changing the twisted media narrative. We want to tell our own story, by ourself, to the world.

Hopefully, we will have access to the written materials of that era.

We will soon make tribal marks mandatory as identity cards.

I will personally make sure say the person writing for flat heads has bad handwriting.

Any flathedd who wants to rent a shop in Lagos must receive tribal marks. Those who want to buy property must receive tribal mark and adopt Yoruba names.

Ilorin became an Emirate under Islamic leadership not conquered the ruling house are still very much Yoruba but fools don't know this even with their Yoruba names they are called Fulani

Ilorin is a few local government in Kwara State, the whole of Kwara has diverse monarchy systems but as usual fools always lump Ilorin with Kwara

Anyways we have conquered and would continue ruling over Biafrans

Re: Lagos Orders Reintroduction Of History Into School Curriculum by EponOjuku: 10:39am On Aug 14, 2022
See Igbos lamenting on the thread.

The greatest tragedy of the war is not Igbos losing the war, it is the persecution complex and victim mentality that has altered the psyche of Igbo generations.

Igbos try to prove that the loss of the war doesn't affect them but it only shows that it really affected them.

This is a nice step but let it focus more on Nigerian history! I have found out that many Nigerian youths know nothing about the Nigerian history as reflected in their comments online! The more we know our history the more we know where are coming from ,where we are and where we are going.Thank you Lagos!

The war of guns ended in 1970, yet they continue to wage civil wars of hate, marginalisation, humiliation, threats and wickedness against the igbos and minority tribes in Nigeria.

Maybe you also need to a refresher course on the people that executed the Jan 15, 1966 coup, there you would find your answer as to why the Northerners are so weary of the Igbos and how the Yoruba's have always stayed neutral.
