I love watching National geographic on dstv.In an episode I watched today,a Leopard killed a heavily pregnant baboon and as he was dragging the baboon along with it,the foetus of the baboon came out and the dead pregnant baboons offspring came out still alive.surprized by this the leopard left its kill and took the newly born baboon along with it and was caring for it and protecting it from other predators.It was actually quite intriguing watching it today.

I watched it last month. The leopard is a young female who was intrigued at the sight of the baby baboon and tended to it. The even slept together in the cold night keeping warm. It ran away the next day when a hist of baboons came calling bye. Thankfully she left the baby behind intact.

Those animals are uselessly cowardly and foolish. Imagine eating an animal while it's still alive, without first killing it. I remember seeing an antelope which was stuck in mud with its head downwards, the werey Hyenas were eating it from it's ass. They first chewed it's balls while the animal was screaming in pains. I remember a book by James Hadley Chase titled "The vulture is a patient bird". Omo Hyenas did one man shege in that book.

I was amazed when watched the scene as well. The leopard took the little baboon to on top of the caring and playing with the little baboon.

Watched something similar to this last month. It was a lioness tho. After killing the prey, she became so sober seeing it’s a pregnant animal. Can’t remember the animal tho. But the lioness left it there and just sat down feeling so down before she eventually stand up and left. Then hyenas came to drag the animal away.
