It's too glaring and not nice at all. Their Twitter page is only to announce downtime on their website and their national holidays.

A colleague of mine applied for UK visa the week I applied to Canada and his has been approved. I just get mixed reactions instantly lol and he's to resume next month.

We stay hopeful though. It will end is praises!!!

UK no be their mate. Their process is too laborious as they want to know everything about the life of everybody. I like the US process the most with their instant decision.

Pgwp is what enables you to stay back after grad and work, it's usually 1 - 3 yrs depending on your length of program (1 yr prog - 1 yr pgwp, 2 yrs prog and above - 2-3yrs pgwp).

With that you can apply for EE and earn more points as a graduate from a Canadian institution with a Canadian work experience.

Before you apply to any school ensure its a DLI and the program is a mini of 8months to qualify for PGwp.

Good luck.

Now I understand , Thanks so much for your Response

Wow, thank you sir. Appreciate this great advise. Though the picture below shows the mail I received from the MP especially as I saw "book themselves for an intake appointment"

Interesting.....MP for Regina-Lewvan just practically sent me a similar mail.

if you didn't do biometrics in abuja both of you will pay 10,400 each, the 18k is the cost to ship your passport 2- way courier via dhl and that will also be paid twice i think, when you get there ask them to be sure

Thank you very much

I just got a scholarship that covers my tuition fee after I have submitted my study permit application.
Would it be necessary to upload the proof of scholarship after submission and if I can still send this document, how do I go about it?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by HopefulSuccess: 10:21pm On Aug 17, 2022
Could some help with this question. Thanks in advance.

If you did your biometrics in Lagos but you are currently in Abuja and want to send you passport for stamping in Abuja, do you need to pay 9k to DHL or how do you go about it?

Yes, please send the scholarship award letter to ircc via web form in the add important documents section. Add a nice cover letter stating that your university has seen that you are a promising and bonafide student hence the scholarship award.

Who knows this might be a silver lining to your approval.

All the best.

You’ll pay 9410 transmission fee to VFS for biometrics transmission, however you’ll go to dhl Abuja and submit the required documents including your original passport, dhl will take a fee to help you courier it to VFS Abuja and also bring it back. So the delivery by dhl will be an instate thing, hopefully it’s not that expensive.

Just got my bvl without decision… how long does it take for decision to come after

Did you get a medical request letter or you did upfront medicals? If the former is the case then you have 95% chance of getting an approval.

As regards timeline for getting ppr in a case where BVL comes first, no one really knows the timeline. Mine came after two weeks of getting BVL, some others came the next day after getting BVL. So be hopeful and keep praying.

Wish you nothing but the best

You're to attach your flywire invoice, university degree certificate, admission letter and a signed letter of instruction to debit your account at the end while filling for the form A.

The bank will work with the information on the flywire invoice so don't stress.

Disbursement takes about 30 - 40 days so you have to be really patient and ask the bank for feedback once in a while to ginger them.

Good luck.

wow thanks so much, i didnt attached the invoice earlier. i will have to attach it now

My school jus withdrew me from my program today with this flimsy reasons of no seat etc. I thought by paying 16k cad, I have secured the seat for the session. Please what do Y'all suggest I do as the next intake is September 20223. Will I loose my tuition? I did not request for any withdrawal or deferral. Who has experienced this and how did you resolve it.

Hello Gloria

What do you wanna know about Conestoga College..

2. Yes, you can. With the assumption you have other strong home ties apart from your family members..

But if you know you don't have strong home ties, I will advise you apply alone or at least with ur youngest child and use your other Family members as home ties..

Thank you all for your response

I want to know the acceptance rate of conestoga and if I need to apply to other schools also

Please I want to know the addresses of hospitals for medical at Lagos and Abuja respectively

You stand a high chance of getting your Visa when you apply alone and use your other family members as home ties than applying as a family without any home ties in your home country..

Remember, Study permit application is a Temporary Visa application and not a Permanent resident application..

Peace
