Nice attempt for a first-timer.

Hello Kwin Poco. After reading your write up, I have decided to take up customer support as the skill I Wana specialize in. So kindly bear with me for asking too many questions. I really would love to ask you even more and more questions wherever I'm confused please, because I really need to get it right. Please Can I use this your professional customer support reply for a customer complaining of missing item ? Then towards the end where you wrote, "and a new one will be sent, I would just say, the missing item will be sent within the next two days.

Sure. You can tweak it to serve that purpose.

Don’t forget to blame your logistics partner. grin

You are most welcome.

I took A Break…

Good morning Kwin Poco. Hmm I dnt even know how to say this but I will say it as the spirit leads. First, I went to Udemy to take up a course or two on Customer support, I want to pay for the first 3 courses in the picture below but I will be glad to get your recommendation. Secondly, I need more..Please I need your help with the courses you have on customer support. The more I learn, the better for me. Remember, you called your friend in that field and she sent you her course, you also went to Udemy for more. My case is a bit different because, I dnt have any friends doing this. You are all I have. But I really believe you are enough. You wouldn't be mad if I called you my friend right? Great!! Thank you

What you are talking about is CONNECTS.

After you exhaust your 50 free connects, you can buy more or wait for 10 monthly free connects. You also get connects when you are interviewed for a job.

1) Only apply for verified payment jobs.
2) Apply to clients with a high hiring rate.
3) Apply very early. Less than 5 proposals or at worst, 5 to 10 proposals.
4) Boost your chance of an interview invitation by writing a very good proposal and attaching your portfolio as a Google link.

Yes, I have.

Then you can increase the batteries.
get a generator set and a laptop powerbank.

I use Airtel and Smile for now. No issues so far.

We sell LiFePo4 Laptop powerbanks and they give the best value for your money. 08.065.316.307

Good morning Hustle!

The courses I took were on project management tools and that was because I couldn’t find free in depth resources online. I am sure there are free resources on Zendesk that would suffice for a starter.

However, you can go ahead and buy just 1 if you have all the resources to. I would recommend the first. Ensure the tutor isn’t an Indian please.

I don’t have courses on customer support. I am not even in CS. The only customer support role I got was the one that pursued me fast fast.cheesy

Nah, I wouldn’t be mad.

The only good thing I see in these jobs is that you have gotten at least 15 free connects for responding to the interviews.

But before we worry our heads - are the payment methods verified?

pls I really need your coaching in remote jobs,
I'm a nursing student, and in my finals, but I wish to do some remote jobs, I need it this period, I wouldn't mind getting some work from you.

For the umpteenth time, I don’t coach o! I don’t have that kind of time.

If you are a nursing student, that is VERYYYY GOOD. There is always someone looking for a virtual nursing/medical assistant and their rates are nice. It is also not very saturated. Many may apply, but people with a background in nursing would definitely be prioritized and given the role.

However, you won’t see any patient’s bumbum to chook injection, so you have to know project management and CRM tools.

You can read up this thread and all attached threads.

Thank you!

No need to create a new account, lest you get banned. Change your niche.

Whichever works for you. You can learn all and more. Start with whatever skillset you have at hand and work your way up.

If you read this thread, the attached threads and those screenshots, you would get the breakdown you need on Virtual Assistance.

Please do not apply for jobs that do not have verified payments. I really do not have an idea on how to execute these tasks and I also do not consider them jobs. $5, $10… not worth the stress for something the client can easily do from his end if it were so ethical.

You Just Have To Be Good At Even Supposed Easy Jobs…

I have gotten to learn that no job is as easy as we think. You only think it is easy because you are not required to do it professionally and you see someone skilled in it doing it effortlessly.

Many people jump into customer service because they think it is that easy, but they can’t address customer complaints like a professional. A Nairalander asked the prospects for a remote customer support officer in Nigeria and this was my response to him…

please how do I create a google slide of bespoke customer service responses to various situations. DELAYED DELIVERY, MISSING ITEM, DAMAGED ITEM, REQUEST FOR REFUND…Close it with your name. Make it look real and sell it as your sample responses while working in a similar capacity for another client. .
