Blacks in the UK are broke, and it's disgraceful. If you want to see wealthy black citizens, you'll have to go to Australia and New Zealand. These countries harbours the best of black people.

That's entirely untrue. The wealthiest of black people are in the US. How many blacks are in Australia and New Zealand sef?

compare to the number of blacks in the Uk, the wealthy folks are not a sizeable group, that's my point. Of course, you can find one wealthy guy here and there, but they are a tiny minority. And hey, these are my observations when I visit the UK often, I don't live there, and I have no data to back it up, so please take it at a face value.

Deep down in your heart of hearts, do you want to go?
You travel there with your kids now, as you are doing Masters, your wife is working and making money. The day she accidentally reminds you that she is the one footing the bills, you will shed bitter tears.

International graduates can apply for permanent residency once they can prove 5 years of lawful residence along with sufficient Dutch language skills and knowledge about Dutch culture.

And

According to a survey conducted by EM among international students attending EUR, more than 60 per cent of these international students expect to have 'difficulty' or 'great difficulty' finding a job in the Netherlands

So automatically no job waiting for you anywhere unless you lucky...

EU countries system is more related to each others unlike Canada and Australia that gives out more work permit after studies...

But still... Holland is a very nice place to study... and just stay focus and start connecting with your colleagues and professors from day1 of resumption..

I'm sure you will get a good newtork

Absolutely
If you study IT related (Programming,Design)
Medical (health related)

You don't need network... just send out your cv.. and you will get a call

I will advise you to start learning Programming now..

I remember I follow that instructions 10momth before my departure... tho I hav some experience as an IT guy but I choose Product design and learn for several month before I finally depart...

After my studies... I sent out my CV with portfolios
Almost every HR in Los Angeles wanted to interview me

Till now I'm still getting a mail amd call for interview even tho hav gotten a dream job

What's up bro, I need your advice... I work at a company, R_I_T_E food_s limited as Production Supervisor and it has nothing to do with my Course microbiology, I started with them and all we do is just make sure factory workers take materials to production lines and manage production materials for the Optechs and my pay is 155k take home but the company wicked my basic is 47k but other allowance made it 155k, I got an offer as contract at F_r_i_e_s_l_a_n_dcampina as Laboratory Technician but with an agent which is contract and I'll be getting 80k, do you think it's a wise decision to switch to F_r_i_e_s_l_a_n_d so I can do what is related to my Bsc. course then the prospect of having a multinational on my CV.

I'm a shark, I want something that will pay me for future purpose as it has been hard anytime I try to get a job as they feel as even production supervisor which is even misleading with the job role I should be an engineer as recruiter think I should be engineer inclined and to even get role as Quality Assurance/Lab Tech in company are always futile as I was even disqualified at the just concluded M_a_m_u_d_a beverage recruitment because of this. Pls advise and don't quite this message because I will want to delete it later

Drop your line so I can give you an advice.

Brother, it's just the way we see these jobs in Nigeria. Its seen as a low level job. Here in Australia. It's a money spinner.

Some care workers here out earn some bankers and engineers. My ghanian friend here is building an apartment complex in Ghana where he is going back to.

A man has to do what he has to.

Based on this Care worker stuff, are their some cheaper courses on it one can eroll in, after a year or two, get the certificate and start working with it over there in Australia?

Could you drop some info about them?

look. My dear, many people o. Immigration post brexit is bloody. You would be seeing kids driving good cars, living plush while you slave away. When I go to festivals or events with my kids you won't even see one single black. They are busy in factories and care homes while the white man is enjoying and knacking free kpekus
Part of the reasons may be because most Nigerians and Africans have people expecting from them. You work to cover those too. Again, oyibo no too send the debts, but we want to pay off, we no wan owe. Everyone should die with their debts ooo

Put your interest first. Money or doing a job based on your course. I will choose money.
If i were you since i have experience as a supervisor, i will leverage on that and look for supervisory or maagerial roles that would pay higher than demoting myself just to do a job because i read it in university

It's not easy. I have lost more than 3 sure opportunity now. No work will take a microbiologist as a Production Supervisor+ the job role is made up role it's material management, the then manager created that role to ease his work, actual sense it's Inventory and stock management in other multinational unless I lie that I can repair machine even as a lab tech they question my competent as no in-lab experience but little did they know am jack of all trades. The height was when I just lost an opportunity recently. Though money isn't my motivation, I don't mind resetting my track and have a long payout later from now
There are no gurantees my dear that if you reset your track there would be a huge payout in the long run. Life is just a gamble.
Things change.
Probably read the job description and see whether it matches your experience. You can look for jobs that mention material management, inventory instead of pure production were you use machines.
However, you can still reset your track and see how it pans out.

So sorry about what you had to go through, i had a girl who live in my neighbourhood who had to do 2 masters just so she could stay at the end of the day she had to come back to Nigeria.

Back in 2016, i had read somewhere on Punch where Nigerians who completed their masters in the UK said they regretted splurging N10m on such endeavors.

I think we should also try to push trades as an alternative to Msc, it is not only cheaper you the skills learned can be transferable.

what do you mean by the traders stuff
