I've seen this over and over again -- IRCC taking action after sending emails. What did your email say to them? I want to do the same if it should come down to that. Congratulations BTW! I hope my time will come soon. jimogh111: |

I had informed them in the emails and webforms that I had submitted an upfront medical result with my application which hadn’t been updated on my application portal for months and kindly requested they did so. bepositive11: |

I don’t think VFS allows in-person pickup. Please give a call to the VFS Lagos office. Also, go in person to the DHL office you submitted it and ask them to provide you with the phone of the DHL branch in Lagos that is supposed to pick up the parcel from VFS, then continue to pester both DHL branches to get in contact with Lagos VFS. Your sister can go to the Lagos DHL in person. Don’t let them rest until they pick it up. Oreoluwamipo: |

KellyTech007:Hello KellyTech007, It seems you already have everything figured out. Nice one. There is no need to remove your father's name as a signatory to the account. Leave it be. As a recent graduate, having your father as a sponsor in your application gives convincing assurance to the officer that funds will be readily available given the presence of his historic income source(s). Owing that you and your dad are authorized signatories to the account, he can be the sole sponsor (preferably) or be a cosponsor of the study with you. Get a domiciliary card to initiate the application fee payment. In anything you do, tie your economic prospect to your father's income source(s) and try to establish the fact that being a board member and intrapreneur in your father's organization paved way for you to become an authorized signatory and investment partner. The fixing and liquidation certificates coupled with an LOE are enough justification to help the officer trace the history of the funds into the account to be used for the application. Success is all I wish You! |

Hello Sanyaa I will advise you to get married to her before you get your Visa or better still before leaving Nigeria for Canada (If you have the recourses to make this happen in a short time though).. Once you have done the court wedding, then all is set. Just make sure you take enough pix together and also with both parents. Also, your Marriage certificate will be very important in your application. You can apply for a Spousal Visa permit for her before leaving the country, that is if your resumption date is still a little ahead(like 4 months or more) and you both can travel together or you get to Canada and apply for a Spousal permit for her when you get your SIN and Study permit.. Go with which ever works for you.. Peace Sanyaa: |
