The ban was largely observed in Isolo Lagos.

How long can this last. Lagosians grumbled, no alternative available as there was gridlock and many were seen trekking home.

I trekked from Iyana Isolo, i.e. Laspoly to Jakande gate today.

Sorry o but so it happened when they were banned from the first set of LGAs. More mini buses and Keke showed up and life goes on. Adjustments will take place soon. There'll be sanity on the roads and improvements in the security situation. They should persevere for a short while.

Lagos is largely unliveable. And I don't mean them Ikoyi, VI, Ikeja GRA and the likes. I mean the real Lagos.

Traffic gridlock go frustrate your life such that even if you have a car, driving it around is such a hassle. Okay you say make you leave car for house take Okada do some sharp sharp movements, them kuku ban the Okada.

I really feel for folks living there full time.

Sufferhead state, always putting the cart before the horse or killing a good horse just for the fun of it. They made sure they destroyed Gokada and co where all riders were verified just so they could do this nonsense without a cheap alternative for a state with 20 million residents cool

Exercise is good...

Even in developed countries....you sometimes walk 20minutes to train, bus stations..

We have been a bit lazy...

Less crime, less hospitalisation from accident, less death from Accident, less noise pollution and so on..

We are adjusting

end of story.

the Okadas are out of control

any small pim and they are in their numbers ready to beat a person to death. one would have thought all these bans would have made them all reflect on their behavior - but no - they are as crazy as ever

A national ban will help the country.

Government too must play a more serious role in the transport sector, especially in states with huge populations. Touts and security agents make life difficult for the citizens. A state like Lagos, where touts are glorified, must wake up and ensure that life is made better for the people.

You chose to trek ni.

There are keke and buses,if you won't join any of those, keep trekking then.

Okada ban is a welcome development, many of the riders are wicked and very inconsiderate.

The riders took advantage of people patronage cuz of traffic to charge as much as 1k per person for short distances .

They ride recklessly so they can complete more turns, causing accidents everywhere.

Alaye,I support the ban, make awon olofo go find work.
It has also improved security and reduced cases of road accident

Lasg govt,nice one.

Ok naa
..
Meanwhile....
PLEASE BRING THIS TO THE NOTICE OF INEC.

INEC should release the detailed analysis, the breakdown, and the categorisation of the accredited voters who came out to participate in the Ekiti and Osun Governorship Elections.
(Just the way they released the details of the accredited voters who Participated in the 2015 General Elections...
https://inecnigeria.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Presidential-Election-Analysis-2015-1.pdf)

We need to study the patterns of the participation in those two elections.

We need to know the number (and percentage) of the youths who came out to participate in the election.
We also need to know the number of “businessmen” and “civil servants” and “artisans” who came out to vote.
..
The information will help us to predict better about the supposed outcome of the 2023 Elections..

Lagos state mini shuttle should be deployed fast fast to these affected areas to alleviate the suffering of people.

The ban is highly over due. We need it in Lagos state. Their menace is out of control

No let hatred for Tinubu blind you from reality or make you run mad because only people of insane mind talk from both sides of their mouth like this

Change is important, unless you want those terrorists from Mali, Chad, Niger, Libya to take over Lagos, in the guise of Okada riding. It's good for security of Lagos.

Why do people don't like to walk in this part of the world? If people have their way, they would prefer Okada taking them to their bedrooms.
