TonyStark2: If you are interested in a lucrative career, go with pharmacy . But if you want to go for the easier option of the two, then choose nursing, it also offers more job opportunity. |

TonyStark2:Hello brother, if your plan is to travel abroad after study, then nursing is your sure ticket. But if you are interested in practicing in Nigeria, PharmD is slightly better, because of the added benefit of private practice. My more experienced chiefs can contribute more. God bless you. |

Omabel71:Dear omabel71, my bosses on this forum has ignited a way you should adhere strictly to for easy recommendation of admission into the college of medicine, as obtaining a slot in the medical school is not easy anywhere. You are the sole owner and driver of your car, it is left for you to decide on which route to follow. |

TonyStark2:In my honest opinion, Nursing fits your description perfectly. Nurses are so wanted abroad to the extent that a nurse can't search for a job for a week in the UK and not get one. And even in Nigeria too, employment opportunities abound for nurses even if the remuneration (pay) is kinda low. Pharmacists are bosses in Nigeria, but abroad?, I don't think so. |

Like I said there is a high employment opportunities for you as a nurse, both home and abroad. Planing to stay in Nigeria: Pharmacy has more opportunities for you Planning to Migrate Abroad: Nursing has more opportunities for you In btw : Nursing |

Ruggedfighter:I just checked your diary and I can already see you are the chief "goofer" throwing away 320+ advantage in UTME only to fumble and goof catastrophically in post utme. People will always project their insecurities on others just because they goofed they expect everyone else to goof. I can't count people that have stayed years at home because of running away from so called "big federal schools". Because of discouragement from people like you. I know two people we counselled recently a guy and a lady they both threw 320+ away at Lasu because they were running from away from the almighty "big federal schools" and the so called difficult post utme leaving people they are better than to get admission slots they could have easily gotten. A guy called Archimedes lost admission here with 314 2 years because unizik employed the use of o level instead of p utme. Can you beat your chest and say if he had written UI or Uniben post utme he would not have passed? so because he lost admission in unizik means that he goofed abi in a less competitive school and wouldn't have stood a chance. Your pessimism is appalling and pathetic. You that tried Delsu how many times why you no enter na . Why are you in a federal school now? you should have chosen your so called less competitive Delsu to throwaway your 300+ again na. Dear omabel71 please follow your heart. Don't let pessimist discourage you . If the less competitive school did not give you anything they will crawl into their hiding. It is better to go to UI try your best and fail than to go to one mushroom school and they still deny you. you are not sure of yourself then switch to a less competitive federal school. I'll recommend uniport. Let that clinton39 too be capping. Sometimes I wonder how some of them got MBBS admission with their way of thinking. People will continue to get 90+ in post utme till thy kingdom come. They don't have two heads and they are no better than you they just have the ability to sit their ass down and study.yes I am a motivational speaker and I know what motivation has helped people achieve and surmount in life. Search for pes13 and read his posts he is not a pessimist like these ones advising you here. WISH you good luck. Remember if they could not do it they will tell you, you can't do it too. 5 Likes |

LalastiklaIa:. I hope you enjoyed reading my diary?. You're crying with a long epistle here just cos the truth was thrown at your face?. I hope you've been offered admission too?. It'd make no sense to keep arguing with you over someone who I'm sure isn't a kid, I'm certain he knows what to do. As for you, I ask again, hope you've been offered admission to study medicine? Thanks for stopping by at my diary, once again 4 Likes |

The medicos, the doctors in the training and the prospective medics on this great forum, greetings to you all. Permit me to use this privilege to tender and inculcate on all aspirant on choices to make irrespective of your utme scores as that is very paramount bone of the contention to be discussed sporadically. Dear aspirants, medicine and surgery is not for the faint hearted, are you capable of surmounting all the stress, voluminious textbooks, quizes, practicals et al. Time is an assets to be precise; are you ready to sacrifice it irrespective of all flaws and pleasures. Medicine and surgery is not easy anywhere, it requires being optimissitic and doing the right things to get in but seeing folks with 300,320 and above being denied admission is really appaling. Bosses any route you consider worthy to get into, please zip it tight and utilize it appropriately, ignore any side talks of naysayers as that may impede your chances. Hope i have impact someone with this few piece of mine. I REP UNIZIK #TEAM MBBS. 2 Likes |

barremmanuel01: 266 is enough if you are from Enugu just score like 275 in the post utme I prepared for the post utme for like one week and I scored 289 |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Munonyealvan: 6:52pm On Sep 06, 2022 |
barremmanuel01:266 is kind of avergaebut it all depends on your post utme performance.I don't think they have conducted post utme in the last two years, they used Olevel + jamb 2020 ,I think they did same too for 2021 .To be on a safer side you need a very strong Olevel in case they decide not to conduct post utme again. Also u need to study very hard in case they decide to conduct post utme.Dont attempt to be lax about the exam or underestimate it even though you are an indigene.Study jamb past questions very welll too.Aim for 300+ I know a guy that got 300+ 2019 time.Goodluck |
