Please don’t risk rescheduling, I believe on the portal when you picked a date there was a note that also advised against rescheduling because the only date that the embassy will document will be the first K1 interview date you picked, this is also the reason why some people that rescheduled earlier don’t find their names on the list at the embassy on the new day they picked InvestorTeeMan:

SmartJac:Yea this is so true. A lot of people who get turned back on the day of interview because they cant find their name on the list even though their appointment is valid. They mostly record your initial date on file so I advice you don’t reschedule |

Good afternoon Good people. I submitted my petition in may and got a reply before a week about them receiving the payment. I know it will take time before I get the NOA2. However, who has filled this year or mid last year? How long before the NOA2? If one files in may. What is the waiting time before one can hope to get the visa. God bless you as you respond |
| Re: USA Fiancee (K1) Visa Thread by InvestorTeeMan: 6:18pm On Sep 04, 2022 |
tkenny20:Your NOA2 should come on or before June 2023. |

Please house, I am worried about this police clearance that didn’t come with fingerprints. I am worried if it’s acceptable at the US embassy without the fingerprints. I asked them at Alagbon police station, they told me that’s what they issue. I don’t trust this police guys o. Please has anyone confirmed this? My interview is on the way Abeg. |

I understand your fear however there’s no cause for alarm. People have gone with this recent updated police clearance for interviews and they weren’t sent back because of it baba2unday: |

tkenny20:If everything goes well and covid impact does not get worse than this, you should be able to get everything done before end of 2023. If they relax more covid measures than this and ease up backlogs drastically then it will be a plus for you. |

InvestorTeeMan:Point of correction brother, it is valid for two years from the date of issuance.

For those still checking for interview dates, kindly update the group if you discover the portal is open. I will also do the same if I see any available dates. Due to the number of times one can check dates in a day; I do not want to be locked out and miss the window. Success to everyone! |

Hey Airboy333, I have a question for you please, I didn't see anything in your thread about "packet 3". After your status says "ready". It seems you cannot book interview appointment until you receive the "packet 3" from US Embassy in Lagos. I am at that stage and I am a little confuse, I filled out the DS-160 successfully and when I was trying to check the interview page before making payment, two questions pop up asking (1) if i have received NVC letter that my document is in embassy and (2) if I have received packet 3 from US Embassy and if your answer is "no" to any of the questions, it says you cannot book your interview until you have receive the packet. Can you please elaborate on that or if anyone else can also help out. Thank you. Airboy333: |
