I have observed with keen interest the recent waves of defections and cross carpeting from APC TO PDP and vice Versa, even in some states like Oyo and Osun states, Bigwig politicians are defecting to parties like Accord and ADC,

However, with the way Peter Obis Obidient movement is sweeping across the board, taking over mainstream social media space, nobody, not even a lightweight politician has dumped his party for Labor Party, even in the southeast where he came from. Could this mean the Obidients still have a lot of homework to do? Just want to know as a political observer
No politician will like to decamp or defect to a kindergarten political party. Labour only seeks recognition and fame.

Those defectors are real politicians that know that nothing can make obi president under labour party so they wont waste their time and energy supporting a failed project
I opt to disagree with you, rather politicians defecting to other party are for self serving for they are aware Obi does not give 'shishi' but has the masses interest at heart.

He's only a failed project if you make him one. It's in our hands my brother. He's not perfect but he's trustworthy, competent and has no business with corruption.
Me and you can let the "real politicians" understand that we own them. That we have choices. That we're not slaves.

Those defecting are after what will enter their personal pockets, not for the welfare of Nigeria. That is why they are not going to LP.

Obi no dey give bribe.

Campaign season is a cool business for shameless people. What they get by ass-licking one party or the other during one election can sustain them for many years.

I said their party choice is because their defection is for their pockets alone, not for Nigeria. You said my comment is irrational. Is it now they started the defection? If the winning you mentioned is for Nigeria and not for them alone, why is it that the more they defect and win is the more Nigeria loses? Answer this question if you are not the irrational one. If you cannot answer the question, what then makes my comment irrational?
Okay obi defected in 2022 because of nigeria

In 2019 when he was in pdp VP he wasn't for nigeria

Continue deceiving yourself

Peter Obi is more popular than he himself knows.
The people in power everywhere in Nigeria are in fear for the organic support Obi has.
Many present political office holders wants Obi to win over their principals.

Go to your area to mobilize the vote for Obi to rescue us from drowning

LP needs no defection , they are taking advantage of the teeming youthful population and the undecided minds.

Any sane mind now knows who they are voting for. Those that voted buhari based on allegations of insecurity against Jonathan are not regretting it. Kaduna governor Calle Jonathan all forms of names and to day the state is a theatre if terrorism if not for the security forces doing all the round clock. Else by now there should be a state of emergency in that state, yobe and Maiduguri.

Tribal sentiments will take us no where. But in all , to me anything that will unseat APC is welcomed

Those that will be voting Obi are those voting for personality not party

I will vote Obi for president
I will vote PDP candidate for governor
I will vote APC for Rep

I don’t belong to any party
Replace that 'I' with 'We' , you are not alone on this boat

Politicians will only defect to parties if they think the party they are joining has a high chance and likelihood of winning the major elections. As it stands, this is not the case with Labor Party.

They are crossing for corrupt reason. They are following the money. They are strategizing on being part of those to loot the national treasury in the name of campaign funds. They are seeking to perfect what Peter Obi is seeking to eradicate. Those that love this country do not need to cross to anywhere. We should just not vote for the corrupt parties.

Goodhearted politicians are.
Many are not joining because PO will not reward you just because you joined LP.
DO has made it abundantly clear that PO's cabinet will be full of young pipu.

Some are:
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (PDP),Valentine Ozigbo(PDP), Kenneth Okonkwo(APC) etc
Lmao. Feather weight civilians. Not even real politicians. Those ones can't even win you a local government election lol

Those who said nobody is defecting to Labour Party don't read news. APC is losing members heavily and somewhere in Benue State - a APC party Chairman cried out that they are heavily losing their members to Labour Party.

Labour Party are gaining members more than any other party. You can tell me LP position before and their position today. Come to East and other Zones and you will pity APC.

I will vote APC 4 Senate
I will vote PDP 4 HOR
I will vote APC 4 Governor
I will vote PDP 4 House of Assembly.
