Congratulations!

Let me start by appreciating everybody here.

This is my 3rd application. Actually, I did not know today is my day of testimony or this application will be approved. I even started my master's in Nigeria already because I have lost every hope after 2 denials.

School: University of Canada West
Course: Master of Business Administration

Documents Submitted

1. admission letter
2. tuition receipt
4. my family picture
5. my picture in usa, uk, finland, and south africa
6. my passport and visa stamp pages
7. statment of purpose and letter of explanation detailing what has changed, which was written perfectly written by @Sopwriter
8. my father's company cac
9. his personal soa (both savings and current)
10. company 1 soa
11. company 2 soa
12. Introduction letter from one my father's company saying I have been working for the family business since I competed my bsc
13. my awards and certificates
14. my cv
15. my police cert

Let me add this, I did not submit my soa bcuz it is just school fee and upkeep allowance from my father that enters it so there is nothing hefty in my account so I was told not to submit it

I dedicate this approval to God almighty and my family. Appreciation also goes to @Sopwriter. This man really helped me with advices. He called me with his airtime and guided me from A to Z.

To other hopefuls, please don't give up because that last try may be where the testimony is. I started my master's in Nigeria already and today I am rejoicing

May other hopefuls testify.[/quote]

i dont think this claim is true for every application, u need to see my proof of funds and my application is 3 days to 90 days and it has not been touched.
olowoba2:

I have noticed generally that people who have good proof of funds tend to have their applications processed quicker and are most likely going to get a visa approval.

I know people who applied since May but are yet to receive a decision while some applied in June/July with solid proof of funds that have received PPR.

The most important factor for getting Canadian study permit is proof of funds. Else, go really prepared with all the right documentations / back-ups as well as a solid SOP indicating why you would come back after your studies.

Good day all. I need guidance on my visa processing to Canada. I got admission in a college in Canada. I'm to resume in January 2023. The delay was as a result of my transcript.I have accepted the offer. Looking closely at the processing time, I do not know if I can meet up. I need guidance please. Should I go ahead with the process? I need guidance please

Back here!

When this new thread was opened on Sunday, I came here with heavy heart because my application was 8 months old and eligibility has not even started on my portal even as at today. I made the prophetic post below believing God of miracle and also responded to someone post by saying “I knees to say a Big Amen)

Today today 4th August PPR dropped without eligibility starting on the portal .

Application submitted 20th December
Biometric 26th December
Medical Passed. 4th January
PPR dropped. 4th August

The God who did mine. Would do that of everyone still waiting for PPR.

My application is already 8 months old so I’ve all the rights and faith to say this new thread is for me and that I will be sharing my goodnew of PPR arrival here this week.

So therefore, VO handing my file would immediately release the PPR and today I book my space to share it in the Name of God the father, God the Son, and God the Ghost. In Jesus Christ's name I pray

Hi guys I have a troubling question. I got admission for January intake in Canada but I'm almost done completing my NYSC before I start visa process it will be rushed. My question is can I defer my admission to May Intake? because the course offers May intake. And can I defer my admission without paying the tuition deposit? Like do I hold the deposit until my admission is deferred or will I need to reapply for May intake? Please treat as urgent the deadline to pay tuition deposit is fast approaching and I want to be sure I can defer my admission before paying. Thank you

How can I secure this mpower loan
Ayonz:
I secured an Mpower loan of USD 50,000 for MEng Software Engr degree i.e CAD 65,000. Tuition CAD 44,000 & Living expense/accomodations CAD 21,000.
Personal savings of N1.5 million and personal land asset Ibeju lekki. No additional sponsors. I currently earn in Naira abt 500k. I applied May 12. My original plan was to to get a job in Canada then initiate PR (I didn't say this to them, I told them in my SOP that I wld secure a job as Software jobs are in high demand) or at worst a job in Europe to repay the loan, . Tho I currently work remotely with a Nigerian company. In eventuality of me coming to Nigeria I wld probably use my current salary to repay the loan

It depends on how far they went with your first application. If they rejected your first application in the early stages of review, your second application will take longer. But if they rejected your first application when they almost completed the review, your second application will take less time.

eseosaaa:
Good evening house
I am a second time applicant
My first application was a month and 27 days(i started counting from the day i submitted my application) before I got my refusal letter and my second application is almost getting to two months now. Do I need to be worried as I heard second time applicants do receive decisions faster?

I have sent countless webforms and emails to Nairobi, lagos, accra,London abuja yet Nothing. they haven't even updated my medical and biometrics

And also when submitting my application I didn't include a picture of I and my sponsor. Do I need to do that?

Hello everyone!
Pls how can I order my GCMS note please
I submitted my application since July 21
Done my Biometric July 25 and updated on my portal July 26 and no mail or any other update till now
Help a soul pls

Since your application is below the average processing time (12 weeks), you can just call IRCC to get an update on the status of your application.

Edit: It turns out that the person who called the IRCC office in Canada and got an update on their application status applied via SDS. It doesn't work for those who applied via non-SDS because they don’t give updates on applications processed outside Canada.

I don't know if IRCC offices outside Canada give updates too.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by bepositive11: 1:07am On Sep 14, 2022
When did you submit your application?

MP is asking you to be patient and wait.

space01:
We were able to contact IRCC and they confirmed there have been no new updates on your file. The Nairobi office has already confirmed there is nothing causing delays to your application and that it is still in queue for processing. We simply need to wait for your application to be finalized.

Got this from my MP today.

Eligibility started 9th August.

Pls what does this message mean.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by bepositive11: 1:09am On Sep 14, 2022
Just go ahead and apply for the visa. You can refer the first page of this thread for directions.

It's hard to predict when you will get approval. Some get it within 2 months (8 weeks), some get it within 3 months (12 weeks), some get it within 4 months and so on.

Hello everyone,
I have submitted my passport for stamping but I had to defer my admission to the next semester which is winter. And although I’ll update IRCC with my new admission letter next week when it comes out.
My question is would my visa still be valid till then and I won’t have any issue
Please I would appreciate your reply

Go ahead and order… your application is over a month and your notes will take another 30days and more to arrive, that means 2 months and more so please order

Are you aware current official processing time for study permit is 12 weeks, 12 weeks is equal to 3 months.
How do you order notes when your job is in progress?
No go use your hand reject your own application

So if you order at 6 weeks, VO will beat you? Or your visa will be denied? Abeg

Oga, you are not informed so please relax and let people that know school you. So you don’t know that when you order notes before 12 weeks, it helps prevent refusal on cases where you didn’t submit some documents? Don’t open your mouth and say what you don’t know. Ordering notes have nothing to do with rejection except you want yours to be rejected. When you order your notes… you see VO’s concerns and tackle it on time before a decision is made on your application. People order notes and see that they didn’t send proof of employment or payment etc and they quickly send it in before a decision is made, if you don’t order your notes… you won’t know this and so therefore a decision will be made. Also if you don’t order for your notes, you can as well be rejected so don’t tie rejection to ordering notes. If you are not well informed, allow others to school you… As if you haven’t seen application that took less than 2 months. Current processing time is 12 weeks… you order notes on week 6, it will take another 4-5weeks to come or more… then your application will be 11weeks, making is 1 week short of 12weeks plus you didn’t commit a crime by ordering them.. So my dear, some of us do things on time… we don’t like to be late, we want to see what’s happening to know if there is anywhere to tackle… the most important thing is doing our part and best
