Hello everyone, I can’t seems to understand this distance learning because location is showing online and school premises also.

Distance Learning means it's online. No physical classes. Youre not required to travel to the UK.

Unless you don't plan to travel, you shouldn't be looking at distance learning programs.

I intend applying to a UK school for Jan entry but the UK visa processing looks very different from the Canadian visa processing which I'm particularly familiar with. If After securing admission and about to apply for visa, what is the average value one's sponsor must have when submitting an application. I tried going to the reference thread on page 1 but seem very confusing. Thanks

Have you tried sending a paid mail or doing a paid call? I did mine on the same day at TLS Ikeja and I have gotten collection mail for both my dependent and I.

. Sent a paid mail , and it was escalated on Tuesday

This is hands down one of my most trying and stretching moments.
Bio - Ikeja TLS - 10th August.
First paid mail 7th September. Awaiting decision.
Second paid mail 8th September - Escalated and told me to wait for 15 working days.
Over the wait, I made over 5 paid calls and was told same thing. Awaiting decision. Still at DMC.
At this point, I left it to God and kept myself busy with other things. I also carried my school along so they know the status of things at the UKVI.

19th September - Another paid mail - Decision made. Same day moved to VAC.

21st September- Received by VAC. Collection mail dropped shortly after and passport picked up same day.

Finally vignette sitting pretty �

You can't use Western Union Globalpay for tuition fees payment from Nigeria, but if you have someone that can pay it from UK it is faster.

Yes, Oanda is what UKVI used for their benchmarks for exchange rate.

My husband did not receive the BRP mail, likewise his friend.
The main applicants got theirs. I don't think you should be worried.

Hi Ignis, please did you submit POF to University of Plymouth? Also, they are asking my wife for official transcript which she is finding it difficult to get at the moment. Base on your experience with the school, please advise if one can provide an alternative document in place of this.
