You don't need to know the reason for suicide, Rather whatever you are passing through learn to tell someone close to you, ideas and advice from a trusted friend can go a long way but when u decide not to speak to anyone it actually makes you not to know what to do and it can leads to suicide.

I would rather die than ask for help..It's not boasting actually but more of a problem, in a way it has helped me in life but also put me in great depression too. I fell like I would have gotten way too far in life if I only understood the context of seeking help.

Who knows if this dude even tried to reach out and then was greeted with scorn and ridicule, na that one worse pass sef.. This world na Everyman for himself and God for us all. RIP man.

The newest format in Nigeria now is to murder someone, quickly put out a narrative that they committed suicide, then watch as gullible people lap it all up hook line sinker.
Nigerians are among the most shallow people on earth, I've never seen a people so easily deceived. So swayed by bandwagon and first narratives.
Criminals can't believe how easy it is! See them rushing to comment words of advice and motivation, because one person said it was suicide. Nobody is asking, lets really investigate first, nobody is saying, lets reserve our comments first before it is fully investigated.
In some other places, any death is first treated as a potential murder before anything else.
Not Nigerians. Who is this man that said it is suicide? On what authority has he pronounced it suicide? What does he know that could aid the authorities in investigation?
Elsewhere, you cannot even rush to break this kind of news or make this kind of pronouncement cos the authorities will immediately assume you know something. But watch as this will all go away in a hail of meaningless words of motivation and RIPS

Bro you are likely correct and it could be debt frustration or likely cultism or ritualism allegiance some cult or rituals will give you fake prosperity and give you a time your merry life will ends abstruptly I have seen such many time. Just thinking loud I'm not judging him.

Above all he is dead and RIP to him but I doubt if a suicider can rest in peace.

Weak physical and/or mental state are the reasons for suicide. When the mind feels there's no way forward, feeling stuck and hopeless. The inability to think beyond oneself, the inability to see the bigger picture. Look at the things people commit suicide for:

1. Shame(dirty secrets, addiction etc)
2. Lack of Money(Debt)
3. Disease
4. Heartbreak
5. bullying

90% of these things will resolve itself yet the trauma or the impending trauma is what makes people take the easy way out, perhaps if we lived in societies where these things did not cause much stigma, perhaps people wouldn't need to go to extremes, either way.....His watch is over!

This is how lawless we live in a society we call modern just because people drive latest cars or use latest gadgets

Honestly, sometimes I wonder if some of the suicide cases we get to hear about are not actually murders packaged as suicide to cover the tracks of the killers.
