Hi guys .. I’ve been a ghost reader for a while now but please I have a question that has been on my mind for a while now
Okay...I’m about to submit my application for Canada study visa but I seem to have a problem with the sponsors account
My father is my sponsor and he has a company
So we actually planned to use the company account which has over 1billion which is the total Credit balance for six months...but recently I saw a thread on twitter which says we shouldn’t use any company account for our study visa so now I’m confused on what to do should I submit his personal account?... just that the personal account is not huge compared to that one
His personal account is 250m total credit balance for 6months
So please guys how true is it that I can’t use my fathers company account when he’s the sole signatory to the account and I’m just 19 plus the company will write a letter indicating I’m the CEO’s daughter plus bank’s reference letter will also show that I’m the sponsors daughter

And should i just submit both his company account and his personal account

What are my chances of being given a visa considering financial capability?

WOW, Congratulations.
I will like to know, why did you go for post secondary school certificate course, is it se as graduate certificate program?

I’m switching career to health care. PSW is a professional course often seen as a first step towards health care and also high in demand. Would have preferred nursing, but it’s very competitive and expensive for international students.

Hi Olokings , let me use this opportunity to ask this that has been confusing to me . Firstly, I want to say thanks for your contributions to this Forum.

I have more than Enough for this study Journey , the money is in a fixed account that will be completed in Feb 2023

After Feb 2023 It will be liquidated then I'll have access to it then apply for my Visa , Not only is it in a fixed account ,it's also a joint account of me and my Dad's Name (I'm the main signatory) .

I just graduated last year so I don't have any Job , but yes the fund is available . Also my dad doesn't have a good Job with good bank statement.

Please at this point how do you think I can show a strong proof of funds to the visa

Olokings,, please can you put me through on school admission ,, also want to know how to send my transcript to school

Hello darling, your father's personal account balance looks perfectly fine to me. No, people have submitted company's account and have been approved, but some have also submitted and been refused, if you ask me, since your father's personal account balance is that huge please use his to be on the safe side, Canadian government has this mentality that a company doesn't belong to one person even if your father is the CEO, they still think there is a board of directors. So please if your father's personal account has good inflow and outflow and no lump sums please just use his and you can put his company's own to just show his source of income explain in your SOP what your father does, the name of the company. I hope this answer is satisfactory

MBS can be generated using your bank app. It is completely free if you are the recipient. It is delivered to your email address, and you can access it using your account number or the last four digits of your account number, depending on your bank. Running MBS tests helps you determine the best start date for your POF to show a healthy opening balance... or at least it did for me.

Did you self sponsor your application?

GOD When?

Well from the little i know, you can comfortably use your father’s account if it’s well above or just enough for your tuition + living expenses (+ miscellaneous). I hope this helps you and good luck.

Thank you for your reply.
I havent really practiced the IT and I will like to garner enough knowledge about it so I can put it to good use. I am currently doing an online IT course tho. I feel that because of the study gap and it isn't related to my present business. that might be a problem during the visa application.

bepositive11:

Is there a reason why you want to go back to IT? I think it will seem like you didn't have much IT job opportunities in Nigeria, so you want to go to Canada and switch back to IT because of the better IT job opportunities they have.

Question ni ooo, studied psychology, but went into finance, worked in the bank and later registered his own company, which is into different buisness, now he wants to do master in either finance or buisness, is this possible since he studied psychology?
Also he has low gp,2.2. he is considering graduate certificate.
Any help, advise or Recommendation.
Thank you

Career advancement is very critical when considering a study permit application. In a bid to show that there is progression in his career, opting for a business or finance program is a logical progressive step for him. He stands a better chance to convince the visa officer about his intent to pursue the business course since he has been running a company of his own over the years.

It will end in praise

I Do not understand your response please
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by kennyjoy(m): 11:12am On Oct 05, 2022
Uchenation:

Thank you so much for your response. It is scanned statement the man wants to alter electronically for me. You said people have used it successfully won’t it be figured as fake by IRCC? Should I do it? that’s my fear as my agent says I will be banned if I submit a fake statement.
He further said like you mentioned too that if I don’t have money for POF interest I can have someone pay the money in my account without any interest then I print out my statement immediately and send to him to review if it’s fit to be submitted or not and refund the person’s money. I don’t have anyone for now just my sister who can send 1MILLION to me. He also said if not I can do 2 months POF using “sale of property” as transaction description then print out and send to him.
The POF company I got in touch with is asking for 3.5% and just two days ago I stumbled on Naija digital @3-3.4% they said they will do 3.2% for me.
My questions actually now are;
1) What do you advice I do? Won’t it be an issue at port of entry if I’m asked to show SOA when I finally get approved?
2) Has anyone successfully used Naija digital for POF please I need vouchers.
3) What do you advice I do. PS: I can’t afford POF for 6months because my savings might finish trying to do that, if push comes to shove I’ll have to go for it.

Thank you all as I await responses

Hi Uchenation,

Firstly, I must commend your agent on his or her truthfulness.

Secondly, could you please refrain from using the word (altered) in this thread. That being said, in the past, some IRCC officers or people associated with them do read on this platform, and this route you are about to take, as well as your post, is the reason why IRCC go more finding by scrutinising most Nigerian applicants, causing delays in their applications.

When it comes to Canada visa applications, financial false statement is a serious offence that will result in a ban. Please do not do this.

Finally, take your time building your POF or looking for someone to sponsor you. To be honest, you will need money to settle in softly in Canada.

Best wishes.

@ebaymaestroo,

You will need to remove the lien on your account to generate MBS that will reflect those funds u placed lien on.Otherwise you may go for normal printout which is usually bulky.

I hope this helps!.

ebaymaestroo:
Hello Everyone.
Please I have concerns about a proof of funds aspect I'd like to clarify.

I am currently working on my bank balance and I have placed a significant amount on Lien. If I generate my bank statement, I always see it as part of my balance but if I check my bank app, the amount is not part of the balance, which is okay by me.

Now I heard that if I do not release the account from lien and I generate MBS to the embassy, that Amount I placed on Lien would also not show in my statement that the VO would have access to. That if I want to do it that way, the best is for me to print and submit the bank statement instead of using MBS.

Please I would like to ask and seek counsel on the best approach towards an issue like this, because someone said I should still use MBS, that there is no problem. Anothe rperson said I should print bank statement and not attempt to use MBS.

Thanks

Which account am I going to give them? I used Form A to pay the fees. Is it my fathers account information or what?

My apologies for the lengthy timeline. God helped me to package this application without any online/offline Agent. However, I will not fail to appreciate everyone who has contributed in enriching this platform. I promised I would give back to this platform in details (as it used to be back then) when my PPR arrive cos I have learnt a lot here. I earnestly pray that PPR will rain soon upon everyone waiting for it.
