Is it possible applying for another WAEC cert or should I do a court affidavit to back it up?.

You cant use your brother as your sponsor.

You can only use your parents (father or mother) and the person must write consent letter and show his/her account for 28 days .

There is a need for an affidavit as long as your passport is carrying different names from your other documents. I know you know a lot but you don’t know everything. I also used an affidavit the first time I was going there for a case like this. The school asked for it and I also submitted it to UKVI.

I am not claiming to know everything
I also learn alot from people here in this platform

As long as your first and surnames are consistent that is fine.The additional affidavit is peculiar to your Uni not a general rule
You are still in the application stage, you can't keep dishing out information you can't clearly back with relevant policy


Your specific case doesn't make it general notion

My cousin did the exact thing and she used her uncle’s bank statement. If she was able to use her uncle’s bank statement I see no reason why you can’t use your brother’s bank statement.

Hi guys please I need a solution… so my kid sister got admission to Leeds backett university and wants to pay 50% school fees. we really want to make the payment in the bank but the issue now is she called someone in zenith bank and was told it might get up to 3months before the school fees will be processed. Now I got a plug the says he can do accelerated processing payment with UBA bank and access but she doesn’t have UBA and access. Though they said anybody in the family that has the same surname with her can help but so far so good non yet… please what do you guys suggest cause black market rate is so high and we certainly can’t go for it

I have schooled in the UK TWICE, that was why I was asking questions about academic progression. I did my first degree and first masters there and now, I’m going for a second masters. Both times, I submitted an affidavit. As long as your names are different, you must submit an affidavit. Stop misleading people.

Can you provide an evidence on where it is stated that other relatives (uncles aunties, brothers etc) can provide evidence on behalf of the applicant?

Obviously you’re not UKVI and you obviously do not know what examples are. Does it state that the bank statement must only be yours or that of your parent’s?

yes she can use UBA if you have the surname and the plug is sure with the fast tracking

She didn’t tell me. I was in the same house with her and she sought my assistance because I’ve schooled in The UK twice. If you’re not close with your family members that doesn’t mean others are not. I was literally with her through the process. We all went together to the court to get the letter her uncle wrote stamped and sealed.

..but now that you said you were there and even did it together with the applicant( ypur cousin) that travelled to the uk....i now get you..
