Still active sir.
Paid dividend of 0.50k last financial year.
Compliment Sir. Nice seeing you back on the thread. smiley
Thanks Mam!
In that case, management performances need scrutiny. If most of their products' raw materials are imported, that might explain the 4-year heavy decline of the share price; else better to stay away...

@RabbiDoracle, do you think the trigger for the banks to the upside could happen when they collectively resist the deductions imposed by the CBN?

At long last, Titan Trust is buying out minority shareholders......
@Mpeace are you still holding unto it? smiley

From my % calculations now,
Bulk purchase from majority shareholders is 89.39%
Minority shareholders: 6.59%
So, 89.39% + 6.59% = 95.98%

Who owns the remaining 4.02% .......Or maybe this was acquired off record. smiley

Madam @Mcy, please what is Mansard's story?

Their company secretary has refused to reply my emails so I'm asking for street news as per you are well informed on matters like this.

I wanted to know their current fundamental state considering it has been falling without reprieve for so long.

I have read most of your past posts and price points but I believe that was before their reverse split.

The issue with mansard is about their ability to pay what they paid last year as dividend going forward.
The half year result was disappointing to say the least. Investors don't like uncertainty.
yMcy56:
You're right sir.......but did you check Q2 or are you referring to Q2, 2022??
I know I'm an amateur but one thing I again look at is their peak periods too........but what do I know. smiley
* Anyway, market already slashed the price into 2 so far....
* We may have to study the Q-Q results to have idea of their best Quarters and maybe draw inference from there first.......
Lol. Don't mind me, I already said I'm an amateur. grin
The Secretary will likely not have answers for you, reason there's no response.......
Seems you've not been reading updates after the reconstruction.....and seems you're also whining me cos you know much better...... grin
Well, while there's no one way to it......and Mr. Market has final say, I think Oga Pluto raised a concern there......but as it is, Mansard is already trading below it's nominal value, N2, and I've not been chanced to do the comparison mentioned above......

So far, Mansard at current price 1.50/1.60 is trading at good bargain......
We have seasoned Fundamentalists here......let them pls help us out expertly.

You can also divide 1.60 by 4 to give you a proper context of their price

1.6/4 = 0.4, so Mansard is currently trading below Aiico grin grin grin

Mohnish Pabrai would say investing should be so easy that your company choice should feel like someone is hitting you on the head with a plank. Valuations that require you to use a spreadsheet is not in your circle of competence. Back of the envelope calculations is the sweet spot.

Exactly!!
Some even got @1.50, meaning it traded @37k......even trading below Chi PLC, Cornerstone and few others.

For what it should be, Mansard shouldn't be trading below it's nominal value......and the result released so far wasn't that bad to warrant such.

After reconstruction, Mansard opened @3.32........meaning it traded @0.83k prior to suspension for reconstruction...........and has since falling up to this point....0.37k....

Maybe Q3 will again give more guide and shed more light to it......

Yes, those days are gone....
At the same time i think the market has done justice to the share price beating it down to sub 20

Profit has been going down too q/q for a while but the latest result reflected a turning point. Growth in profit q/q .

How else would UBN/Titan have given you enough time when they've been on this issue for over a year? grin

Many people don wait tire and sell off self.

Think we've been discussing this here but got tired of it at some points too........but when bulk purchase was done and paid for, you should have expect that buying out of minority shareholders is around the corner.

This is how HW's scenario will likely play out too......only issue here is that both FMN and HW are listed on NGX, so it may take another dimension....(or may not).
