Sodiq3:And that is the gospel truth. Only unreasonable people think that a man that imports so much, that reduced Nigeria into a mere consumption nation, will help the country become productive. Obi can't do 10% of what Buhari has done, even if he presides over Nigeria for 16 years. This is the same Obi, who couldn't leverage the entrepreneurial power of Anambrarians to expand IGR. Ngige met Anambra's IGR at N800million in 2004, grew it to N7.4billion by March 2006 before leaving office for Obi. How much did Obi grow the IGR to after 8 years? Just N8billion+..... meaning he added a meagre N1billion. Buhari flooded Nigeria with local, quality rice products within few years as president. He revamped more than 20 fertilizer blending plants, among many other outstanding accomplishments. |

If I were a business man,I won't buy goods from Nigeria that has been affected by a high production cost no thanks to the inability of the government to make the environment conducive for business! I can't out of loyalty for my country buy let's say a bag of rice that is fluctuating between 45-50k and leave out a foreign rice that is currently between 8-15k! Let's keep sentiment aside,no investor or business person will want to make use of our locally made goods that has been inflated as a result of insecurity, unavailable electricity, inaccessible roads, multiple taxation sand very high transport cost! Look at the past few months, most local bakeries have either shut down or laid off workers just to stay afloat due to zero local electricity and 100% dependence on alternative power! |

I thought history matters as human beings? Peter Obi is the only aspirant amongst others who was governor for 8yrs without taken any pension after office, yet left the state treasury with Hugh amount of money. He was able to manage the state well |

Peter Obi presents himself for interviews everywhere, Where's Atiku and Tinubu? Let them come to Live TVs and face these same questions, let's see their response. |

Every attempt these tinubu urchins makes to bring Peter Obi down is always playing out in the opposite direction and that exposes how weak and low tinubu is. For example, can Tinubu grant a 5mins interview on a national television with audible and comprehensive analysis on how he plans to lead Nigeria? |

oikirodah:Dementia or flop is only attributed to Tinubu. Why are you all interviewing him, you want to get ideas from him yet you don't want him to be president. When he gets in the office, he will make Nigeria a productive state. I like the way he diverted the talk. You guys should go and interview Tinubu plsss let's know if he will poison the agbado and ewa ![]() |

oikirodah:His response was apt. He was referring to the prisons to buttress his point that most criminals engage in criminality due to poverty. He said the same vigor those guys use on criminality can be reversed and turned into production. Doing that will improve production and at the same time improve security. Gbam...you have killed two birds with one stone. |

I don't know why Nigerians are so fixated with the myth that the dwindling dollar is due to imports. Were the government to effectively ban all imports of good and services, the exchange value will barely budge. It might even appreciate a little but it's bound to end up weaker. The problem is exports. The Naira takes a tumble whenever the price of crude oil drops as it accounts for over 70% of the country's forex inflow. Nigeria's non-oil exports needs to surge. If oil exports for instance only accounted for 10% of dollar inflows, the Naira would only depreciate a little. It would be hardly felt. |

Sodiq3:In a crazy country like Nigeria, If you are a self made billionaire without the help of stolen funds or govt backing, you are a genius. Mind you, even China and the US import like mad. most of my shoes here Coole Haan, is from India. But, shoes company here in the states are like uncountable. |

colorsofrainbow:don’t mind them can Tinubu take questions from Bode George for 1 minute on national live TV? the way Obi is getting hammered with questions on live TV - why can’t Atiku and Tinubu and even Kwankwanso make themselves available for such ? I know Atiku purposely told Arise TV owner not to let Rufai Oseni come to his house for that interview because his 5 Billion dollar campaign will be over in minutes please I am not saying Obi is a saint but they are making Obi look like the incumbent - who must be peppered with questions while the other incompetent candidates are hiding waiting to snatch victory without thorough vetting - this is crazy! |

udeh3:Anambra people bought rice and PMS cheaper when Obi was Governor. I learnt that Anambra grows its own rice now and the state survives without FG allocation as well. No, single pothole during his time, all roads tared, infact Anambra generates its own electricity during Obi tenure. Obi did great in Anambra. |

theforemost:No, but you sound stupid. How many supermarkets does he have? How many of the products in the supermarkets are his direct products? How many of those direct products are imported? What's the volume of the import? Do federal government give him free hand to import restricted goods? Oga una too stupid |

MeaslesMumpsRub:Una too stupid. Is "next cash" the biggest super market in Nigeria? No! Even ShopRite that doesn't import 30% of their products. Where does next cash source it's dollar for import? Is Buhari a shareholder to allow next cash to import goods that has been delisted for import? Una too mumu. |
