I'm glad for the timing of the interview release. It came out immediately after our match had ended and the season was on break. At least there won't be rumors of it destabilizing the players or club. And there would enough time to reflect on the way forward.


From the look of the things, Ronaldo has played his last match for us hence why the interview came out last night. It's a win-win situation for both parties if he's leaving. We continue our rebuild and improvement without depending on him like we did last season, while he finds a club he'd feel happy in and his ego can be massaged. I hope he finds another club after the World Cup and continue doing exploits. I also hope we get his replacement before the season resumes or by January transfer window because the squad is thin and have no depth at all.
