Igbos Won’t Produce Nigeria’s President Through “Nzogbu Nzogbu” Politics -Soludo by lhordspy: 9:44pm On Nov 14, 2022
Anambra governor Chukwuma Soludo on Monday said the Igbos need to learn Nigerian politics, as “frenzied nzogbu nzogbu politics” won’t favour the South-East.

*Cited how “under Tinubu, the South West strategically organised under a different political party, the ACN and went into a formidable alliance that kicked out a sitting president”

Igbos, in their frenzied nzogbu nzogbu politics, have sadly found themselves in a political cul de sac. Tragic indeed! When will my people smell the morning coffee?

When will Ndigbo understand and learn politics, especially of Nigeria?” Mr Soludo said.

The Anambra governor made this statement on his Facebook page, stating that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was not a sure route to Igbo presidency.

Mr Soludo was responding to criticisms that greeted his comment during an interview where he described Mr Obi’s investments for Anambra to be “worth next to nothing”.

Urging for the Igbos to align with his All Progressives Grand Alliance party, Mr Soludo cited how “under Tinubu, the South West strategically organised under a different political party, the ACN and went into a formidable alliance that kicked out a sitting president”.

Mr Soludo’s statement comes amid clamour for a president of South-East extraction. Dominated by Igbos, the South-East is among the geo-political zones yet to produce a Nigerian president since the country returned to democratic rule in 1999.

Every four years, we resurface with emotive Nzogbu Nzogbu political dance (“it is our turn dance” but without organization or strategy) and fizzle out afterwards while others work 24/7 strategizing and organizing.

Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win.

Exact same thing former governor of Enugu state, Chimaroke Nnanmani said few days ago. This is same thing Soludo is saying again. Without having a prophet to tell us, we know how the igbos will react as usual to the truth; Anger, insult, abuses ,curses, hate, and aggresivenss towards the person but not the message. So sad and very unfortunate

it is very obvious The igbos never learn or maybe they dont want to learn or maybe they have a phobia for learning.

How can you do same thing all over again and want to achieve different result. Over the past years, the igbos has been sidelined and marginalised politically and nationally as a result of nothing but their inbuilt and nurtured hatred and envy for everyone even to they themselves. It is only from igbos that you will begin to hear this one is not real igbo, he is ika, he is ikwere - they are not igbos. So pathetic.

Politics is played by making alliances, friendship, building bridges with other people from other regions not by 'Gbas-gbas' everytime. Insulting, abusing, cursing everyone against your ambition. May i need to remind igbos that elections are won through voting NOT on a platter of sympathy that 'it is our region turn to rule' ...

With the recent happening, the whole of Nigeria have seen the igbos for who they really are. Nothing but uncultured disrespectful angry birds .

Peter obi political career has been completely destroyed. After 2023 the man is done. You people have complete set the ambition of a promising man, Peter obi on fire through Nzogbu Nzogbu disgusting politics you are playing.

Some even went as far as going after the life of Soludo, his family and even extended it to his village, just because he was forced by Seu.n of Channel TV into talking about Investment that has to do with Peter Obi.

What is all these for christ sake?

Truth to his talk..

Ibos don't know politics . It is as simple as that..

These same people gathered themselves at one time to support Jonathan into power..but now, refuse to support their own kind into power ..why?

Isn't it obvious to you that these particular people don't understand politics. . grin

They won't listen.
They'll blow their chances now and then when power returns to south again, it'll go to SS Niger Delta.

They will never be president by fighting everyone else, Tinubu has a chance because he built bridges.

All Igbos chose to do is insult the north, their favorite curse word is "Fulani herdsman" and they labeled Yoruba people as "Fulani slaves". They insult "Yoruba Muslims".

They can never get to presidency. Never!

So they didnt do nzogbu nzogbu politics when they voted for a yoruba man (Obasanjo) twice, even over their own son, Ojukwu.

They didn't do nzogbu nzogbu when they voted a fulani man, Yaradua.

They didnt do nzogbu nzogbu when they voted an Ijaw man, Jonathan.

They didn't do nzogbu nzogbu when they voted another fulani man, Atiku.

Now, the best of all the present candidates is igbo and they have decided to vote him, it's now nzogbu nzogbu.

Most of the people hailing this post from a self centred Soludo has never voted a ticket that doesnt have their tribe in it. Hypocrites

Anything Igbo with Nigeria hinges on Biafra/Nigeria war. It is very idiotic on the part of any Igbo and Biafran person to suddenly forgot Biafra/Nigeria war is still being fought. Those non-Igbo Nigerians who seemed to show support for Peter Obi candidature are simply trying to conclude Biafra/Nigeria war for good in the interest of everyone. If Atiku or Tinubu is elected, it will indicate the spoils of Biafra/Nigeria war are still being shared between Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani to the detriment of other Nigerians who also fought on Nigeria's side during the aforementioned war.

Is this not the same thing we have been telling them over n over again,u can’t play politics of hate where others are playing politics of inclusion

If u observe properly u will realize Labour Party has been reduced to an Igbo party cos of their nature of harassment, cyber bullying, falsehood, cheap propaganda, blackmail, character assasination n co

U don’t win an election by forming an island n insulting everyone not in your boat, after election I am very sure they will sing a new song

At least their leaders are beginning to see what outsiders are seeing about them, chimaroke nnamani said it,now it’s soludo

So an election shouldnt be conducted then. Since you are now implying that because one of you, a supposedly hero decided to play brave but miscalculated by sacrificing over 2million igbos through senseless war, that we should now just fling the mantle of leadership to the igbos?

Lot ot tribes round the world has one or two dark days in respect to war. The difference between them and the igbos is that the igbos chose to be stuck in the past, engulfed by hatred and envy towards those who are link or knows little to zero about the war.

The physical war is over. But the Igbos keep fighting a mental war with everyone and anyone. How can group of people move forward with that kind of mentality.

If you never let go of yesterday, it will still be a burden tommorrow.

Lot oftribes had s

I guess you and Soludo realized the route to election is not necessarily to produce dumbass leader but lay certain principles to correct the wrong. It is very idiotic on the part of Soludo to publicly pronounced that Peter Obi cannot win and went further to indict the entire nation of Ndigbo of ignorance of political mechanisms. There was absolutely nothing such as miscalculation about Biafra/Nigeria war. If there was any senseless act during the era, it was the responsibility of Gowon and Nigeria. I shall never dream of war simply because Yoruba peeps have decided to cede from Nigeria and form Oduduwa Republic. I had to encourage them because it could be a progressive model.
