Obviously, this guy can’t read or write Igbo properly otherwise he wouldn’t be using that fan. How can someone close to him not spot the mistake or is that how they say and pronounce ‘the poor’ in Igbo. Akaoma jide aku, Ogbenye alacha aka.

Jman06: Please show me one wealthy man today in the world that became successful without a woman? In Nigeria today, I can bet that 80% of finances in homes today are from the woman in the house, politicians exempted. Please stop peddling false narratives here, if you don't want to get married simply and quietly remain single. |

Lol This is sentimental talk from societal brainwashing. I wish you saw the pains and disgust in the eyes of the so-called early planters who can hardly man-up to their so-called responsibilities I hope you know how much a cup of garri, rice and beans is today as you're preaching your open-ynash sermon . No de bite yourself o. Respect by nature? Hahahaha...how? Respect by society? Lols...don't have the capacity to provide for your family and let's see what the same society will say about you...otiku respect. And who even made this an achievement? Society! The same hypocrite society that will lynch on you! Toooor.... Shying away from responsibility...which responsibility? Who mandated the responsibility? Who is society? If not a band of people who feel this is right and that is wrong. Abeg mek person hear word jhare. Ajehkpako4naija: 3 Likes |

Abi1985: Your heading and your write up are saying two different things. If you are concerned the way some married folks like to flaunt the fact that they are married or the fact everyone keeps asking "are you married" and putting unnecessary pressure on you, that's understandable. But to say marriage isn't an achievement, you didn't give any point to support that claim |

Ajehkpako4naija:you talked like an illeterate Statistically proven! Married men cheat a lot than single men! So what you are talking is practically meaningless! A high percentage of men are not happy deep down in Their marriage life and wish to be single I know your type! Once you see a 16yrs old girl you quickly develop an election 1 Like |

emerged01: The issue is that in Africa where majority of the young men see marriage as an achievement, they spend their youthful days thinking and working for marriage. Hence once they get married, they feel fulfilled and have no future ambition. Mainwhile, their counterparts in Europe and America who are not passionate about marriage are daily thinking of how they will break new grounds in business and science. For them, marriage can even be neglected if it will become a hindrance to their carrier. Out of these two categories of youths, which did you think will be more successful in this world? 1 Like |

Marriage is a big achievement. You can't have a subset unless you have a set. I.e,you have to be complete in almost all ramifications before thinking of marriage, getting and staying married. It's not for Cowards and incomplete people but for perfect builders and forgivers. |
Re: Marriage Is Not An Achievement by CheapHomes1: 2:37pm On Nov 17, 2022 |
Ajehkpako4naija: Marriage is an achievement but it doesn't distinguish men from boys. There's no hard and fast rule to it. Are there no married men who don't give a dime for family upkeep? Are you telling me that there are no married men jumping from one skirt to another? Was the late Ataga not married when he was sleeping with chidinma, a school girl young enough to be his daughter? so he was "responsible" and respected by God because he was married?Keep all this responsibility bullshiit for one side as if marriage automatically confers on a man or woman the status of a god. 2 Likes 1 Share |

MikeofAfrica: Which one is "carrier"? Marriage is an achievement anywhere in the world. There are many successful married men and women in Africa and in the west so I don't know where you got your theory from that marriage hinders professional success |

Re: Marriage Is Not An Achievement by CheapHomes1: 2:47pm On Nov 17, 2022 |
Jman06: Marriage is for things that you say it isn't for. The fact that certain people use it the wrong way doesn't change it's purpose. That's why the late Myles Munroe said "when purpose is unknown, abuse is inevitable". Don't blame marriage for not working. Blame people for not knowing the purpose of marriage. Someone like you doesn't understand it's purpose. By the time you get in and start failing, you will start blaming the marriage |

bunmmy5: Making money is the greatest achievement that a man can attain on Earth. Money is the horse that will carry the Cart of marriage for a man. Hence when a man sees marriage as a priority and rushes into it without first having a good investment , he is simply puting the Cart before the horse. Such a man is a fool before God and will not receive any favour from Him. It is the investments that you made before marriage that will receive His favour and blessings after your marriage. In other words, God will use your wife to multiply those investments of your youth. 1 Like |
