Hello, please I need some advise. I have ppr but I applied from a different country. I actually have to be in Nigeria in some weeks. I am scared of submitting my passport here and not getting my passport when I plan to travel to Nigeria. I want to confirm if I can submit my passport in Nigeria for stamping. Please, thank you. |

[quote author=Smarthill18 post=118471209]It's PPR for my brother. I'm so happy. Second time applicant; Conestoga College 1st application was done through an agent. He Got a rejection due to financial reasons. We ordered his GCSMS and the Visa officer claimed he didn't have enough proof of relationship with his sponsor (Sister). Hence, he wasn't sure he will be able to afford it financially. He had to defer his admission to January 2023 and re-applied again. All thanks to @scott99tish for his advice. Second application: Self Application submission : 27th August Upfront Medical passed : 26th September Eligibility: Ghost update. Didn't know when it was updated. Original passport collection: 17th November What we did different to address the visa officers concerns (proof of relationship with sponsor); I opened a canadian GIC account and Submitted the GIC certificate I Wrote a strong SOP and LOE explaining that sponsor is my blood sister - Sponsors notorized Affidavit of sponsorship Sponsors birth certificate, old pictures, old/dated whatsapp messages Notarized Affidavit of relationship Recent family pictures Letter of sponsorship from sponsor Family tree Sponsors marriage and change of name certificate/Affidavit Bank statements Sponsors Assets PLEASE HELP OUT I WAS REFUSED THIS MORNING. GURUS PLEASE HELP ME OUT. PLEASEEEEEEEE |

I was offered a Post Secondary School Program/Diploma with a Canadian College in Ontario. Do you think I have a higher chance of getting a visa due to my age and the program? I am 36 and I’m going to study for post secondary program. What are my chances of getting a visa? Is there age limit for this program? |

Here's my timeline; Undergraduate Application. Application submitted: September 6th 2022 Biometrics updated: September 6th 2022(Already done for a visitor's visa application) Upfront medicals: 13th September 2022 Sent series of webforms and emails with my e-medical slip attached. Medicals updated to pass: 7th October Ircc ghosted me, no updates, no replies, nothing Contacted an MP from my province and she contacted an IRCC rep on my behalf. They gave her update on my application on 2nd of November; criminality and eligibility passed but it wasn't updated on my portal. I kept sending emails and webforms but IRCC said "aired" Eligibility review started: 17th November 2022 PPR: 18th November 2022 All I can say is God did it! Teeebabyyy: |

Biggyman11:Someone here got approved and was 45yrs. You only need to package a strong application that's all. Ensure that your course is somewhat related to your previous degree or working experience to stand a better chance. Not saying that career switch is not possible. |

Oldfashioned145:Don't relent. It's a generic response. All my webforms and emails did not even get any response so just be hopeful and keep asking them for feedback. |
