So I was craving fish stew and literally dragged myself to the market. I got this tiny fish for 1200, paid with pain in my chest and left .

Location; Lagos. Will you get it cheaper in your state?

Only in Nigerian waters will a fish live it full natural maturity age without any fisherman catching it till it turns to great grandfather fish, retires and later dies

These fish sellers just dey rip naijans because of dollar don increase, how dollar take affect their businesses. They don't even export sef. Tufiakwa.

I got this fish late October for N700 naira. Initially, the seller said 1 for N1,500. I hate hassling for long so I ended up getting 2 for N1,400.

It seems you were ripped off. 1200 ordinarily ought to get you two pieces of fish. i.e #600 per 1.

Modified: I just did a little findings from fish sellers, i want to assume the Op got original Titus fish, the authentic ones are very costly. The fake ones are sold from 400 to 800 depending on the size.

The only thing I appreciate about this post is the picture angle and quality. Every other thing is trash.
