Hello. If you know you don't own a domain, no need to outbound it first hoping that if the end user shows interest, you will quickly go and register the domain. This is unprofessional and highly uncalled for. Domaining is all about investing and taking the risk at times so why not register the domain first before contacting end users? Thus shouldn't be encouraged. The best time to use thus tactics is when a buyer has bought from you before, yiu then can coin some names and send it to the same buyer if he or she will have interest.

I remember the time I sold a foreign currency keyword to one buyer $50. I later came up with several coined foreign currency keywords both registered and un-registered and sent to him if he would be interested , he showed interest. We did the deal then up to $2k before he later lost interest.. I reported the sales here then. You get the dimension now? No point marketing a domain you don't own or haven't registered. It's bad.

This has been said multiple times in the past. Maybe it's the new guys trying to be smart.

There's this guy the person he contacted played a fast one on. The person registered the domain name when he saw that it was available and even thanked the guy for telling him about it.

Obviously new guys and desperate people. A lot of these new domainers are not interested in learning anything. They just want the money to magically appear.

And I think because some of us offer cheap classes that are not in-depth it's easy for this to happen. A cheap and out of depth class is only good for a serious person.

Please can I use another person card to purchase? I did this on z dot-com and it was marked as fraud n cancelled.
Till date the guy is telling me zenith Bank hasn't refund him,,,even though z dot-com said the money was not taken from zenith Bank in the first place.

Buyer used Godaddy to buy instead of Dan lander. Dan were the ones that listed the domain on my behalf at Godaddy.

I got 400 net After commission.

Advantage of the Dan-Afternic Sync:

For 20% commission on an eligible Dan-Push registrar you can get ur money without having to wait for 60days or risk cancelation of the purchase.

You can enable this feature on Dan via 'Integration' in settings and Dan would automatically list your names at Godaddy.

Disadvantage:

20% commission.

He will be refunded only that it may take up to a month. Same thing happened to me on Z dot com

This particular domain was Geo. Works on all of your domains at Dan. Just activate the feature under INTEGRATION.

So far the purchase by GoDaddy is proving to be good to domainers. Even names that normally couldn't list on Afternic/GoDaddy are now been listing through the distribution network.

yep. U don't need to do anything. Price changes according to changes in Dan.

Once u enable the feature...u will notice ur domain is listed on Godaddy and other registrar for the Dan Bin price.

By default, Afternic takes Dan's BIN price. However, it can be manually edited. Note that Afternic distribution network through Dan is auto-disabled for any domain name that was previously listed on both Dan and Afternic.

Specially for those who don't have accounts with Afternic, to take advantage of this, just as Learner47 said, enable the feature at Dan, and list your domain names. Once done, there're auto-listed on Afternic and its affiliates.
