I have gone and back to base now. Beautiful city with many tourists attractions. Dessert Cruise, Boat Cruise, Buried Khalifa tower(124th floor).

The United Arab Emirates government on Friday announced a visa ban on Nigerians, adding that all submitted applications are rejected and fees non-refundable.

The ban was announced in a notice issued by UAE immigration authorities to its trade partners in Nigeria including travel agencies.

Please can you help with your guy's plug? I just did my Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), but I need the MoFA & UAE Embassy attestations on the PCC and some other docs.

Fee approximately 18k
Can be done in Abj or lagos consulate.
My guy recently did for his certs for employment. He got his visa 5days after submission . He is now in UAE .
Do well to ask about Police clearance too as that must be attested as well. Goodluck

Just go to the embassy for attestation. For the MOFA, just tip them & minister will sign faster, if not, you will sleep there.

You can discuss that with your employer. It wasn't me but my guy that went through the visa process. He bore the cost fully. Employer needed those to process his visa, so he provided them at his own cost to facilitate the visa processes.

I can confirm this....was in Abuja for doc attestation...my employer is in free zone (offer was in October). I will update once they send my e-visa.
