Wow, that's good to know.

When you check my comment, I stated it this way "Communications engineering (Neural networks)". Meaning it's a specialization.

We're both right, but the misunderstanding was the issue from the get-go cheesy

But I disapprove that NN didn't originate from Comms engineering. That's because the idea first sprung up from intelligent systems, which is birthed from Signal and systems, directly comms engineering.

Computer science also has networking applied, so it evolved. It's just like the marriage between physics and electronics engineering
Good. Now you've made your thesis clearer and better- It is applied. Just like we have Natural and Applied Sciences for example. They originated from one another.

I hope the Ops and other can help more in the Blockchain space, just like you, I'm also just getting my hands in there but I can tell you what I'm in to, if that helps.

I started with understanding Blockchain itself ,the concept and all. The books that helped ,
Mastering blockchain
The Bitcoin standard
Blockchain for dummies

I'm now moving into the technicalities, here are the books I'm reading now
The Blockchain developer by Errand
Mastering etheruem and solidity
Decentralized apps and Defi

I just started on Blockchain developer

can I start learning Blockchain after doing html and css cos I want to focus on Blockchain now the JavaScript edition

No please,
Begin my learning about Blockchain itself, hyperledger, consensus algorithm, solidity etc.
I'd recommended books like ;
The Bitcoin standard, learning Blockchain etc. Once you have done that then you can move to coding . Never skip the fundamentals .

Tech stack only matters if you know what you want to do.

.NET is used mostly in legacy software these days. Java and Javascript should be the comparison you should make, then Spring/Spring boot vs Node.js.

For the first two, just pick one. Node.js is mainly used at startups, and Spring boot at enterprise organizations.

There are more unfilled roles remotely in Java than in Node.js. Because most developers around here think Java is hard. But you have a higher chance of getting a job with few applicants compared to backend JavaScript with node.js.

Just pick one, and you're good to go.
wow. Thank you so much for the insight. Can i dm you please?

Okay because JavaScript seems to be more difficult than python lol.

Especially with the way it dynamically convert data structures. It's the only language I know where 1 + '1' gives you 11.

lol I would still learn python type though but I haven't learnt Python yet but I'll definitely learn that my aim is to be skilled in Blockchain

Here are some good links to help

1) An MIT course on blockchai, the guy teaching it now works for the SEC lol
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUl4u3cNGP63UUkfL0onkxF6MYgVa04Fn

2) this NPtel course also
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHRLZtgrF2jl8yqucJsMFqh5XpRLTgCI4

Books.
3) Mastering blockchain 3rd edition
4) The bitcoin standard
5) The blockchain developer

Do not jumo into coding without knowing what blockchain is all about, once you are done in understanding what decentralized systems are, hyperledger, DAPs, DAOs, Defi, Consensus algorithm, Byzantine fault, Peer2peer system , shardings, etc.. you be a more well grounded web3.0 or blockchain developer.

concept first, then coding next.

Yeah, I am a full stack developer but I focused on frontend (VueJs and Reactjs) when I realised this because I have always hoped to get a remote job and earn in dollars. Right now I am expecting positive results from three different companies in USA, Colombia, and Poland.
I have already passed their assessment tests (I was asked to build a mini app) and waiting for the final interview. I hope I will be favoured.
What app did you build?

Skip: You can learn from being an intermediate in 3 months.
If you're an absolute beginner, 6 months or more will do.

Well, my first remote gig was 1/4 of a mil /month naira equivalent. It was a short 2 and half month process.

I would never have learnt C# or .Net. I would stick to JavaScript and all the shades of it.
Then, I'll adopt Google Dev Ecosystem rather than Microsoft.

what is the google dev ecosystem pls

Try to have a good LinkedIn profile, and apply for available jobs.

For my strategy, when I so see an opening, I add the recruiter to my connections(using LinkedIn premium) then message them on my interest to work with their firm and how well my profile fits.

For the Top paying one's, be ready to solve data structures and algorithms problems..
That DSA part dey fear me. The thing too hard jaare.

You need to research the average time Chinese and Asians study it before they cracked jobs. It's not an overnight thing as most Nigerians think.

With the recent tech hiring freeze which even firms it's not affecting are taken advantage of just to cut costs, The market will get even more competitive unnecessarily.

But job referral is the best form of employment

Please i intend starting my journey in tech industry. I need suggestions amongst these three stacks and which is most sorted out for

• Java
• Node.js
• .Net

Do not start with Java, Java is not a beginner friendly language.
Node.js and .Net are just frame works, you can't use a framework without learning the language first.

Node.js is JavaScript backend
.Net is for C#, I don't recommend you learning this language though

Learn these instead
First html, CSS and JavaScript
Then Java or Node.js

.

You're missing the point, as typical with most newbies , 1+ '1' should return an error not a value. This is the point I'm trying to make , but since you just started learning js, it's normal to seek opportunities to show off
